The sheer amount of companies that are developing space habitats is mind-blowing. We are truly living in a space renaissance era.
ОтветитьAs the Titan sub's sad outcome proved, a spherical habitat is likely to be much sturdier than a cylindrical one
ОтветитьDoes anyone know why the pez dispenser design isn't flipped 90 degrees? Wouldn't that maintain the strength of the shell better (vertical opening vs horizontal opening)?
ОтветитьI know this is quite the unhinged question but is there a way that we could possibly lubricate the outside of starship in preparation for launch I know this is a weird question but I work on boats and there's a paint/lubricant that you can use on your propellers and other parts where it acts as a coding and a lubricant to allow the prop to spin faster and to allow less growth and I know for a fact that it helps in some cases with acceleration but does this mean nothing when it comes to how much power is being used in the launch of a starship or is this even a valid question for the physics of air when launching a spacecraft?
ОтветитьAwesome update thanks !
ОтветитьYou always make my day.
ОтветитьHot nose cone action in your space base
ОтветитьTo start with i found markus cringy but after a while he becomes adorable
ОтветитьToo bad Elon Pedeaux Guy Musk is such a qunt.
Hey, when is the cave-recue-submarine-to-save-the-Thai-soccer-team gonna be ready? That was five years ago and I doubt those Thai boys are still, um, kicking.
And Twitter is doing great, if hemorrhaging billions of dollars and offending advertisers in order to provide a safe space for neo-Nazis is "great".
See ya.
Zero credibility military industry doing secret stuff, is inappropriate, and disgusting.
ОтветитьWhy don't they use the sea water to cool the launch pad
ОтветитьGreat quality as always! Maybe because we in the north hemisphere are upside down. You think of great points!
ОтветитьThe worshippers of baal would have a penis ship.
Faker roony
SpiceX ???
ОтветитьThe range of projects across the industry is absolutely insane. If I was a teen, aerospace is where I'd want to be!
Ответитьwouldnt it be better if they actually launched it frpm above ground as much as possible seeing as how the 33 Raptor3 rockets kick up so much concrete and they already have a crane catch system??? I assume that there is going to be concrete debree again causing engine failure bc of the massive power of the rockets but if it was even 50ft off a launch pad it could greatly reduse that
Ответитьhow come the pez dispenser isnt vertical? would that be easier to make structurally strong?
ОтветитьIt's probably a test in the search for answers for mankind's biggest mystery: How check marks work.
Ответить👍🏽👍🏽 thorough as usual mr house, I really appreciate ✔️✔️
ОтветитьIts always amazing to see how busy that work site is. The only thing i can compare it to is an ant Colony working together.
ОтветитьTesting shields is good for space habitats. Is there any current work being done on tools to clean small debris from orbit? Mobile shields etc.
Ответитьgreat again
ОтветитьSpace Force it's just one more thing that makes me ashamed of being human, the wars on the planet were not enough, now they are going to take the wars into space.
if you ask me what if aliens attack humans?
simple answer, if they were going to attack humans they would have done it thousands of years ago and I personally would be prepared to fight on the side of the aliens because humanity lost its way a long time ...
lol, rapid unscheduled digging
ОтветитьIt amazes me how quickly SpaceX build boosters and ships and it's taking Blue Origin what feels like an eternity to build New Glenn 😆
ОтветитьI had an absolute ball watching this!
ОтветитьNASA should be allowed to die. What expertise can those losers share? How to massively over budget and not so much achieved. Space X has done more, faster and cheaper ( not counting the R&D by blowing up rockets on purpose as opposed to NASAs many life ending failures)
ОтветитьThe ERA of Space Balls nears!!
ОтветитьAlways enjoy your updates. Any chance you can do some time on the Chinese space programme? I was surprised to see that the Chinese are close to matching SpaceX in current lift capacity.
ОтветитьI cheer myself up with the thought that this tech is not going to some war.
Elon made a comment that anti- gravity will not be available this century.
This was probably his biggest faux pax. A real doozie.
More advanced civilisations make going to the moon about as dramatic as an elevator ride.
The Aliens have said that we have a lot of unlearning to do, and is that not the truth?
I point the direction to "The Andreasson Affair" kindle and Audible.
Don't like it?
I have others.
Dang, very cool. Another great update Marcus 👍
ОтветитьElon's antics have mede me no longer care about his ambitions. Going to Mars has all the ego of visiting the Titanic. With Elon's karma: same results to come.
ОтветитьJust tossing this out Mr. House since you know all the cool artists… a cool rendering or shirt design would be Starship with a pair of warp nacelles like the Phoenix strapped to the sides… who knows Zefram Cochrane just might be proud…
ОтветитьBlah Blah Blah, Elon's still pro russian and Chi, and Un. What more can I say, I used to admire Elon. Now who gives a shit about him, Ahem, his mom?🤷♂️$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Ответитьteknisi por kor
Ответитьtank atas atep
ОтветитьAnother colossal amount of space progress this week, without the word 'colossal' coming up too many times in the video!
Anyway I just wonder what Marcus means by when the Bepi-Columbo probe will "enter Mercury's orbit" in 2025 - does that mean it will reach Mercury's orbital distance from the sun again or actually going into orbit around Mercury? Surely 'Mercury's orbit' means the planet's orbit around the sun not the probe's orbit around Mercury. That phrase often confuses me with it ambiguity.
The same with 'Earth's orbit' and 'Earth orbit'... I think the Earth's orbit around the sun (or Earth-moon system's orbit round the sun) when they often mean 'in orbit around Earth' eg Low Earth orbit.
Space X: Actually putting stuff into orbit and making meaningful progress.
Virtually every other company: We’ve got this really cool 3D render of what we might do one day.
Spass EEks
ОтветитьReally looking forward to some competition to get cargo to orbit, as it is all just SpaceX falcon 9s pretty much now.
Could Blue Origin get at least one up to orbit before the Starship?
If not it may be game over for them.
Good video, but I’m a little miffed that the twelfth and last certification test of RS-25E engine E10001 at Stennis Center, the Berger scoop on JPL’s Mars Sample Return issues, and ISRO’s major partnership announcements with NASA got left out of it
ОтветитьHAHA PFFT
ОтветитьRU Excavation 😅
ОтветитьThe quick disconnect system is not a new concept. Shuttle used the Tail Service Mast through the program and SLS uses it.
ОтветитьUuuh, that spherical habitat is BAD ASS. They just need to maximize the size of it and use that starship pez dispenser. And they need some of the panels to be 80% transparent so that they can greenhouse
Ответить
