Stephen Hawken's said a 100 years. Though he had the same birthday, I hope he's wrong, though he was a very smart man.

I sometimes forget how lucky I was as a kid to have the BBC putting out programs like Whistle Test to widen my musical perspective. Not to mention John Peel, Andy Kershaw, etc

A Cop knelt and kissed the feet of a Priest, and a Queer threw up at the sight of that.... 1972 vs 2023.. What's 50+ years of no one listening..... definitely not FIVE

Remember buying my first electric guitar from Woolworths in Kingston 1970 ….the first song I learnt was the opening lick from Ziggy Stardust….great days to grow up in…….I’m so glad I’m old enough now to have been young enough back then.

In this song he reminds me of Iggy Pop with the cadence where he's shout-singing. I wonder if he gave that to Iggy or got it from Iggy?

David Bowie was my favorite. Is and will always be. He’s one of my first tattoos. When I was little I loved the hits and some of the smaller known tracks. When he died I was in highschool, my mom let me take the day off. She went to work and I was home alone, cooking a little and feeling such a deep mourning. I did a deep dive. Listened to every single Bowie song. Watched documentaries and ordered books online. I learned who he was behind it all and understood why I hurt so bad. This song hit me like nothing. Like seeing my first love from a distance and saying nothing. Like a memory of a life I lived. I don’t know how to explain the way I feel this song. I loved him, I drew him, I made art and was inspired by his characters and his story. He was so much to me, he always will be. I hope someone reads this. He changed my world and his music carried me through it all. Rest in eternal paradise Bowie. What he did for music and history and liberation and equality. I can’t even get into it, I could write books and books about Bowie. God bless you if you’ve read this ❤

I'm a drummer, and believe me, that beat is a lot harder than it sounds. Go Woody!

This song's words will be true Sept 22, 2023. At that point we have 5 years left until Earth dies in fire at Christ's return Feast of Trumpets AD 2028 (Sept 22, 2028).

Excellent - I don’t agree the drummer was “bored” - more like he played a metaphor - timing=time - it’s a constant that can’t be stopped - even over a period of five years…

BBC doing a proper job of presenting the band and respecting the talent. Good camera work, sound and lighting.

I'll never understand how Bowie got so popular. He has a couple good songs, but most of his catalog sounds like this. Mediocre
