couldnt 32 bit compatibility on a 64 bit OS be solved in a similar way to how windows does it? In 64 bit versions of windows, whenever a 32 bit program is opened, it opens up an instance of 32 bit windows just for that program (Im simplifying it a lot), but I would think that they could do a similar thing for raspberry pi OS

This is the single most useful Pi video I've seen in a while- plus your execution and style is super! I only wish that you had covered Apertis OS as well

How does Raspberry Pi run these OS's but can't run Linux Mint ? Isn't Ubuntu MATE a Linux Version ?

SUSE looks great...but no audio is a bit of a let down. MATE looks the better option and it has a feel of MINT about. Thanks for sharing the information! 👍

Thank you for a great video, very informative as always! I must say I'm very disappointed with Gentoo performance, as a distro built straight from source I'd expect it to be best tailored for the hardware it runs on.

How did we get to the point where a simple image utility is - as of now - a whopping 123 MB? That's utter madness!

I'm running Raspberry Pi OS 64 beta on a 400. The difference from the 32 bit version is rather large, it's a much smoother experience.

I know this is an older video, but just in case you happen to get notices of comments. Will the Pi4 8 gig make much of a difference over a 4 gig for YT videos, and what distro do you recommend to watch YT, Odysee and Rumble videos? Thanks

Hello Chris is there any particular reason you chose the server version of Ubuntu or was it because it the lightest version? thanks

Has EC had a look aat installing the Android OS on the Raspberry Pi? There are videos out there, but I'm sure an EC video would bring greater clarity to the process.

Hi, I am SO glad to have found this channel! You do such a fantastic job of explaining things! I recently bought a Raspberry Pi 4 8GB RAM Starter Kit with a 32GB Micro SD Card. I want to stream videos with this particular unit. Which distro would be best for Netflix and Prime? I tried Ubuntu and Raspian, but I had a hard time getting Prime to work. I think it has a lot to do with the browser. I ran a script for DRM on Raspian, but Prime would lock up every time. Netflix worked well. Any suggestions? I can't wait to get a few more of these Pi's. There is so much to experiment with. I LOVE your ultimate rig! Thanks!

manjaro is very good, only the pacman commands in the terminal are annoying. in my old days I don't feel like relearning the shit and wish for apt-get commands like in rasbian. are there any alternatives? i like the xfce desktop

Raspberry is no systemD friendly and i can guarantee that. DO NOT judge from the gentoo image because it is unofficial. Void arm, Artix arm both with runit and Slitaz arm are the way to go for me.
