I'm in my 1st playthrough, Wyll died to the gobs right when I met him, killed the hag before she escaped, blew up the foundry and killed Fire Chick's bad dude before his coronation. Just finding out that caused me to miss out entire parts of the game. Oh well

If Wyll got freed, our tadpoles were cured, Mizora destroyed the Elder Brain and gave you a Ring of Wishes, it still wouldn't be enough to justify hurting Karlach.

I couln't befriend her :( I killed the co-leader of the hain, bcos she seemed evil to me for leaving others to die. And then everyone in the hain died and karlach thought it was my fault qwq

In my first play-through I met Karlach AFTER I had killed the bitch druid... and the other druids cause they were killing the tiefs..
Well Karlach didn't like that.. so I never knew the "Paladins" were fakes.. and thus I killed her to get the sword >__>

You can use a resurrection scroll after killing her… go get Wyl’s robe and then recruit Karlach.

I just realized that Avernus is pronounced: A furnace. This is much more subtle than Avatar's Unobtainium.

you can get the sword by just killing the paladins with karlach anyway HAH

There is a glitch where you can still get the item for will and keep karlach on your team. 1st, see wyll and get the quest, next, be by yourself and fight karlach and kill her but don't go near the bridge, it'll start the cutscene which will stop the glitch. After that, long rest and see wylls patron and she'll give the item. Then go back to karlach after all that and use a revival spell or scroll on her and let her go back to her spot, she'll activate the cutscene and you can get her to join you and will after persuading wyll

not even an item that makes ALL your stats 30 is enough to harm karlach in any way

this is the kind of content i need of bg3 because theres no way in hell ill do this in my gameplay lol

I played w/o a guide so when the quest said Kill. I just snuck up and murdered her on sight. Not knowing how much I lost 😑

This would be great of wyll didnt leave my party when i murder the grove. Theres no way in hell im killing karlach in a good guy playthrough and wyll isnt going to stick around when im evil lol

How can you kill Karlach? I mean it's the nicest character of the entire game😢

If you dont trigger karlach's entrance cutscene, kill her, and then go to that dude who gave you a sword do you still receive it?

erm, i jumped the part where you're killing karlach, just to see the reward for wyll. my heart can't witness this massacre.

Normally if you bring Wyll to the bridge at Wyrm's crossing, the guards think he's lying about who he is and call him a tiefling.

Wonder if they let him through now or not

I just killed him for his blade AND got Karlach I’m a tiefling in my play through so I view her as my characters distant sister or something 😂

if youre gonna kill her, make sure you dont raid the druid camp...i learned that a few days ago as TDU

I accidentally killed some tieflings in the grove (even tho I saved them and the grove later from the goblins, it was literally an accident) and when I met Karlach she just didn't want to even talk to me and was sad and angry, so I decided to kill her, because didn't even know that she is that great of a person

I didn’t know about the hidden ones…and accidentally killed a few — the gnome for example….pressed the wrong lever…I swear I heard him scream:

“Pull the lever Konk!”

Then…

And thus we learn; all we get for killing Karlach is dinky looking robe and Wyll having a guilty conscience.

I killed Karlach my first play though on accident because I was playing with another person who was a jackass and kept skipping all my scenes and going forward without me. The 2 times I rushed though the dialogue, I was meet with a battle against her. 🙃 Next I won’t be playing with him anymore; I listen in for his shit so we can do stuff together only for him to just ignore my shit and leave me.

Because of how much Wyll protested about letting Karlach live, I shrugged my shoulders and said "Whatever, my party member wants to kill this NPC, who am I to stand in his way"

Then he IMMEDIATELY started to get second-doubts. I was like "dude... I literally wouldn't have done this is YOU hadn't told me it was the only way. You can't be like "oh, what have we done" no, dude. What have YOU forced ME to do!?

I then started to loot her corpse. And upon seeing her inventory I realized she was supposed to be a recruitable NPC. Guess that what happens when you avoid the pre-release stuff.

Wyll kind of breaks the immersion for me, when they came out for a reskin for him I was soon disappointed to hear that it was removed.
