what lock on number 1-5?
ОтветитьКто выиграл?
Ответить#1 for me — NO BLACKOUTS! ❤️ A9 all the way for action shots. For cropping, no brainer, A7R4.
ОтветитьWow, fantastic video. Thank you!!!!
Ответитьhi Tim, you say that you were using Focus Area: Tracking Center, the video seems to show that Tracking: Wide is being used, please would you confirm which is being used, thanks
ОтветитьThis video is great. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьI’m coming back to that video again and again. I would love to see a similar video that compares a7r iv against v.
Thank you again!
consumo eccessivo della baTTERIA
ОтветитьInteresting comparison, but more interesting is the red kite spot!!! Can I ask you where is it?
Ответитьyes A9mkII gets my vote for snappier lock to focus
ОтветитьHi Tim thanks for the video .. did you change af-priority to release or balanced emphases ? - How far you were from these bird? approximately .. I’m still trying to learn and find the best way to shoot with my A7r iv and 100-400 GM
ОтветитьAmazing footage! I bought the A7RIV!
ОтветитьThis video was very helpful! Thanks :)
ОтветитьGreat upload Tim. I have purchased A7 4, how do you think that would stack up against the A9?
I am considering buying an A9 2 but don't know if it would be any better than the A7 4 for the bird in flight shots, perhaps you could give me the benefit of your experience. Keep up your sterling work with the Sony products. Forgot to mention I would be using 200-600 and 75-200 2.8 mk2+1.4converter.👍
Beautiful birds in flight, no matter the camera.
ОтветитьBeautiful video :)
ОтветитьGreat video and structured well. This video was the deciding factor for me in purchasing the a7RIV. I realize the video has been up for a while, however I have technical question. When setting the Focus Area to one of the tracking options, attempting to replicate your video, I get a warning message that my subject detection is set to animal. Setting it to human resolves the conflict... but doesn't track animals. What is the obvious setting that am I missing? Matt
ОтветитьWhat tool do you use to record the camera screen? Can you introduce me!?
ОтветитьOne of the samples is actually from an A7RIII and isn't a Red Kite...
Ответитьsuper video, very impressive, A9 is superb and A74 is no slouch. Totally agree with your conclusion. Big thanks
ОтветитьThank you very much. You have answered my question of choice: speed or resolution.
ОтветитьThanks, great review with practical examples
ОтветитьNice work.
ОтветитьJust pulled the trigger on a used a9, this video makes me feel like I did ok ;) I shoot a lot for fun including sports and nature, and some pro work, mostly weddings, so the ultra resolution and better card slots, gets trumped by faster burst, quicker focus, and easier to buffer/manage file size.
ОтветитьCaptain, just awesome video.. Hows this combination for Aviation photography.. Heard bad reviews abt this particular combination.. Sony A7R4 and Sony 200-600
ОтветитьI HAVE A SONY A7R4 AND SONY 200-600-HOW DISTANCE WAS THE EAGLE FROM YOUR CAMERA?VISIT MY CANAL ESCLOROPENDOLA AND GIVE ME YOUR OPINION OF MY VIDEOS WITH THIS CAMERA.THE NATURA IS WANDERFULL WHIT THIS SONY....
ОтветитьGreat video, very useful. Have you ever done a comparison between A7 iii and A7 r4? In terms of autofocus speed and EVF blackout times in bursts?

ОтветитьGreat video! Thanks
ОтветитьVery helpful video. Best yet BIF session video to convey what an experience a BIF shooter will get with those cameras.
I was surprised to see IBIS on at 1/2000, I thought one might be better off turning IBIS off above 1/1000. Also very pleased to be able to so clearly compare the experience of shooting a non-blackout A9 vs the blacking out A7R4.
Your video made me reconsider going for a future 48mpx A9R instead of waiting for A7M4 (. currently on A7M3)
I love nature and these are amazing
ОтветитьWhat focus mode do you use for this video ?
ОтветитьAwesome demonstration
ОтветитьGénial tests
ОтветитьI have both. The A9 is much better as far as focusing, especially focus acquisition and of course fps.
ОтветитьWhat focus mode were you using for the birds on a7riv ? I’ve used wide a lot but then I’ve heard zone
ОтветитьHi, how well and how fast does this Sony a7riv animal eye focus function works on flying birds or flying subjects with Sony a7riv + sony 200-600mm oss lens using shutter speed ?? Are you pressing the customize button for animal eyes focusing??
ОтветитьIf there is a camera like A7R IV on the market all the other higher-priced A's would be redundant. Even if you're a bird or sports photographer you'll always capture the critical shot. In all reviews comparing both cameras advantages of A9 over A7R IV seemed very marginal. So why pay a higher price for a camera that offers a marginal advantage limited to specific shooting situations?
ОтветитьI have an A9 and A7r4 with a 200-600 and am having difficulty tracking birds. Do you use back button focus and if so what buttons have you assigned to what functions. Thank you
ОтветитьAfter this video im confused... stay in nikon on d850,d500 or d5 ...or pass at Sony? .... i DONT know ... 😭😭
Ответитьthank you very much!!! Same as you I shoot not only birds but macro insects, landscapes and also people, so, I guess the 7rIV would be a better choice, right? Just by chance did you compare bif with the canon eos R5 and any of its new zoom tele lenses??? thanks a lot and regards from Uruguay.
ОтветитьGreat video and very helpful. What do you think of the A7riii?
ОтветитьAny suggested AF settings for shooting birds in flight specifically?
ОтветитьHow do you setup the real time tracking at the A7R4?
ОтветитьI enjoy these videos a lot! Just a quick hint: I 'd prefer manual ISO for these situations where the brightness of the backround changes permanently. So that the subject is correctly exposed all the time :)
ОтветитьThanks for this video. I have been shooting an A9 since it was released, but I am printing at larger size (50"x30") and am wanting more resolution. How has the A7R IV held up for you so far? Have you had any issues with buffer depth shooting compressed RAW? I shoot mostly action shots of my kids and wildlife.
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic review.
ОтветитьWhich IS mode, OFF?
ОтветитьExcellent job ..
But, I see that the R7iv has a viewfinder blackout .. isn't it?
Has it been fixed in some firmware lately?
I think it is a big problem especially when using burst mode.
