SLICER DESIGN 2.0 in Power BI I UPGRADED functionality and UX

It seems had issue with Apply all button when second slicers filters based on first slicer . How to resolve this issue? Example sub category filters based in category filter will not effect until click on Apply button.

How can I use "Filter by list by devscope" visual to exclude a list of values from my report.
Generally if we select a value from slicers or filters the report show only the values we have selected but I want the opposite. How can I do that?

Is there a quick way to copy paste this between report pages or even reports?
Feels like there is a lot of setting up with bookmarks and button interactions for all of it.

I made my own version of this, but on a folded out panel using bookmarks to fold it out .
My main issue is when i fold it out then
1) The display of the filters (product vs location) isn't how it was left off as - the visual part of it. But the slicer/bookmark selecter for those two is how it was left off as.
This causing some inconsistencies.

2) Same issues applies to the quick filter vs apply filter button and the bookmarks behind it.

I wonder if there is a way to work around this?

Aka make a fully functional version of your above, but from a filter panel that opens up / hides instead of always being on the page.

How can I do that top filter box? That shows the filter selected options? That thing is amazing!

Hello friend! Thanks for this super tip! I really loved it. Just a note: I've just downloaded your pbi project and I noticed that the "Auto refresh" buttom (which you used the thunder icon) is not working, just the manual method is updating the main visual.

As much as I love Power BI for it's modeling and speed, the visuals and interface are lagging behind the competitors. The functionality you displayed here was inherent in Qlik 7 years ago. I was able to create beautiful interfaces that were highly configurable and conditional right out of the box. Simple things like conditionally showing a visual was and is standard in Qlik while it's still not possible today in Power BI. I don't understand why the visuals in Power BI are so parochial.

Where is the video for how to create that list of applied filters? I use that in Qlik and have never found a PBI equivalent. That would be huge for me.

Great Video as always Bas, I have a question, what is the behavior when you use the Apply slicer but you are using cascade mode in the slicer? for instance if I have a category slicer and a product slicer if I'm using the apply slicer will never filter each other, right?

Could you make a video to show how to make a slicer which searches text across multiple columns or some required columns.
Eg search location New York or just a search if category like phone . Instead of having two slicers or using bookmarks

You are the best explaining Power BI, thank you very much !! Related to "Reset slicers", of course is a good improvement, but not perfect, as it only clears the slicers (I know, is in the name) but it doesn't reset the user selections made in the visuals and you know a dashboard is usually full interactive (or even you can use a visual as a filter as you showed us many times). I would like a button that reset every filter to set the page at the initial state. I'm afraid I still need to use bookmarks. Just to warn you. Thank you for your videos !!!

The main problem with the apply all is the other slicers don't update. For example, if I select a Product Category, the Product slicer isn't updated with only the Products within that Category making the user experience poor.

It has always been annoying not being able to clear slicers with a single click. I will apply this on my dashboards. Thanks Bas.

That panel showing the filtered values, how did you do that and will it show all values if a user selects multiple values in a single slicer? Can't find the video where you did that. Edit: Nvm, saw that you linked it in a reply below, much appreciated

That apply button is a game changer. Was super frustrating that the report refreshed every time a change was made when the user had 5-10 selections to make to get to their desired result
