Dutch Kickboxer learns about mythical technique called "Jab." Starts using it, becomes "King of Kickboxing." Much to learn here!
ОтветитьDude taps people at just the right spot with his arm punch right after a kick and drops people.
Like a dude coming out with a two handed hammer and then doing pin point flicking strikes instead of smashing.
Legend
Ответитьabsolute beast
ОтветитьThe inside leg kicks are to tie up the opponent, either preventing a follow-up or counter by them (and worst case weakening their strike/kick/counter) or taking away balance so he can follow up himself. Perfect counter for squared off opponents if you have the leg length.
Ответитьit's rare to see a heavyweight that's so technical and moves like a middleweight. most heavyweight just go out ang slug each other.
ОтветитьRico is a legend.. period.
Ответитьi often find the techniques you talk about making these big differences all come straight from traditional martial arts...its a shame people these days aren't more able to differentiate the effectiveness of traditional martial arts techniques from the non-effectiveness of the "no resistance" training methods a lot of the traditional schools provide
ОтветитьReally strong lad.
ОтветитьMost skilled heavyweight kickboxer I ever seen very powerful too very fit as well he can be world champion in boxing as well and even in mma too if he works his wrestling defence hes a very good fighter!
Ответитьfinally one that still keeps normal. as most of these boys are literal criminals but they can never ever outstand a techinical fighter as rico is proof of that.
ОтветитьWe'll see now when he recovers as "recovered from injury" Antonio Plazibat will break him out, believe me in Croatian Tank Smesh Your Rica V...
ОтветитьJustin Gaethje and Rico Verhoeven are the best low kick goats 🐐
ОтветитьThis was absolutely brilliant and far superior to most online "experts" these days. Thank you for showing me this mans interesting techniques and please keep the good work up!
ОтветитьThese leg kicks are standard repertoire in Kyokushin: stand too square and you get it on the inside. Stand too sideways and you get it on the outside. Thank you for making the video, great fighter using technikue usually seen in much lower weightclass, one of a kind for his class.
ОтветитьHis patience and technical ability is what separates him. He assesses what you can do, and once he figures you out, he makes adjustments.
You definitely need to bring your A-game to beat him.
This dude looks like loved by girls pop star on steroids
ОтветитьAnimation canceling, but irl
ОтветитьI would have loved to see him against Bob Sapp 😂
ОтветитьWhat a great breakdown. Alot of good techniques to work on.
ОтветитьHi huven mary xmass 2022,2023.godless you win you are the best friend s of the world in kick boxing 🙏🇳🇱🇲🇺🇪🇺
ОтветитьTo be honest, he looks like kickboxing was waiting for him to join. He has incredible physique. He doesn't have a weak area in his body, everything is evenly distributed.
ОтветитьDude fights like a Kyoukushin karateka without kimono but with gloves. His phone booth style, staying in the pocket and do his masterful boxing plus lowkick combo is amazing.
ОтветитьI tried that low kick to the inside of the back leg in sparring... Fuck it's not easy . I got countered or I kick the person in the balls hard lol 😂😂
ОтветитьStrangely, Rico didn't used much of his famous leg kick against his third match with Ben Saddik. I wonder why.
ОтветитьRICOOOO
ОтветитьNo one can explain either how his opponents are slow old and washed af
ОтветитьHe hasn’t faced much competition most of the time come on .
ОтветитьThis tactic can be explained. The man believes in himself.
ОтветитьBrooo his legs are like trunks that’s CRAZYY 👑
ОтветитьHis accuracy with his inner leg kicks is quite absurd.
Ответитьi sure wish todays kickboxers would fight 12 round championship fights like they did back in the golden era
ОтветитьI love this technic.
ОтветитьA few teaspoons of Ramon Dekkers' fearlessness & ferociousness would make Rico the ultimate fighter..
Ответить⭐Unorthodox Fighters ⭐ By far my favourite kind of Fighters ⭐ because there Unpredictable No One knows what they have plan
ОтветитьDamn i wish Thais has heavyweights so we can see them fighting against these guys
ОтветитьHe is tall but also has some short but powerful arms, which he can be very powerful on the inside.
ОтветитьHe is very precise and consistent in his actions
ОтветитьSick
ОтветитьWhere's the d. Where's the movement. Can't just stand there
ОтветитьThose inside leg kicks are BRUTAL!
ОтветитьMan’s a beast
Ответитьyour film studies are the best!
ОтветитьWhy isn’t this guy in ufc
ОтветитьLegit
ОтветитьMost impressive thing to me as a spectator is how much flow Ver has, every single movement leads to a new, usually very hard to predict follow up, every single movement I swear. Every feint and fake leg raise, every jab it all leads into the eventual head or leg hit even if blocked 3 times over. Super impressive imo.
ОтветитьI think jap and teep is in ancient muay thai
