I have a friend that was intimately involved with that and I think it would make a great story for you and your videos. It’s a story that not enough people know about and the police ruined a lot of peoples lives by being the main suppliers of OxyContin in the area for a while.

I forget how it got disrupted, but none of the police ever suffered jail time or proper sentences

2002 was the year my life got turned upside down, the early 2000s was a war zone ,like they threw monkey wrench Into our generation, then saw the problems and switched up to the OPs but far far to late…then every1 just switched to 30s…and now we have the worst drug problem on the north shore …and it’s a short time left b4 the tranq fully hits all of mass, and the bodies are going to be dropping even faster..it’s so sad…any one struggling ..I can promis you getting clean takes a lot of work personally…but like he said there IS NOTHING TO GO BACK TO, now adays getting “high“ is equivalent to playing Russian roulette…great video man!!!used to love when the glousceter kids came down to lynn🫡

Brother, This MIGHT Help, Write a Letter to each of your close friends ,, How you feel about them using/passing etc. write Anything you need to say to them. I've used this method several times, my own Sister JOYCE VALERIE GIBBS, who was Murdered, I did it with as well. Write what you need to say, fold up the Page(s),,, I used ziplock bags with mine, and go to their Headstone, Dig little spot deeper than plants/flowers that might be left there, cover it, as in Bury it with all your Pain, Guilt etc. NOTHING worked for me, Except this and Obviously staying Clean, and Talking with my Higher Power whom I choose to call GOD twice daily.. These 3 things have allowed me to move forward in life and Not wonder ,, IF I did this or Did that maybe my Sister or close friends who OD would still be here etc. Now if any Guilt or Pain tries to attack me, I Give it away, I Give it to GOD, I Don't Own it, He does. From blue collar workers- like docks/warehouses/mills/farms, to really "health -conscious" people like D1 athletes, body builders, & soldiers (US military) were prescribed them for non-terminal injuries & got super strung out lightning fast & began hustling or doing crime to get well, or switched to 🟫 when price went 📈

Just to say.. you can absolutely make bail after 90 days when you have prior case you're already out on bail on or picked up other cases. I'm out on 3 bails right now..because I have the money to post them. I served my 90 days Mando an then made my bails. That's always been how it was.. I understand dude is a Rat which is horrible but bail is not questionable.

I was there on the peabody side at one of the spots that the feds raided daily. Luckily never got called to court. Some of us did and some of them didnt do the right thing. But like you said. Thats a lifetime ago. Peace

Im 38 and came up in the same era in Somerville, medford, cambridge area. Its crazy to hear this story cause it feels like the same thing happened in every city and town across eastern MA. I left the life behind in 09 and i thank god every day because this Mass Ave fentanyl n crystal meth shit is a whole diff game... I lost pretty much all of my close friends i grew up with and started losing ppl before our lives even really began. The ones still here are either in prison or still using. Our generation was fucked from the beginning and its scary how this shit just fell in our laps

At this same time it was going on where I grew up. Appalachia. There was no need to rob pharmacies, we had endless "pill ladies". It seemed everyones mom and/or grandmother was getting prescribed the stuff and realizing there was significant money to be made. Then there were groups of people who would travel the 8 hours to florida to the pill mills.

Have you looked into the case with Dell Hathaway and his ring? He just got out of prison a year or so ago, Mark McGrath from Swampscott that did 5-8yrs, and we can’t forget about the stolen superbowl rings! Sadly, I believe we all know these people somehow because of how small and connected this area is.

Can’t count how many of my friends have passed. 2006 and on it was one friend after another. Lynn, Salem, Swampscott, Nahant I have lost 77 people to this drug. But, before they pulled the OC’s and switched to H life was fun, it felt like a movie. Everyone was making good $$, life was good, and then we saw everyone just go south. God bless those we lost and those who are still struggling.

Those kids that never dabbled all got hooked after they got their wisdom teeth out and grew balls and felt confident and happy. The kids who never had problems, the smartest and stable of all….sadly are the ones that are gone today

I was in salem court 1 day he was down in the holding tank an im talking to him, sll of the sudden they call some random name i cant remember the name but lets say richie Sullivan' an when he goes over to cuff up to go in court it was hickey..there was rumors at the time but when that happened i looked at everyone else in the tank they were in dis believe cause we .most of us new him he was talking about oxy moron he was there for domestic on the girl from the movie

I remember first time I did them it was 80mg puked for hours it was horrible me my cousin and brother side by side puking then nodding. What a stroll down memory lane this was. Awesome video. I was deep in the scene around 2003-2006 in the Bedford/Lexington/Arlington area. My ex had a relative who was a cop and I once got to see a pic of a white board in the detectives office that looked like a family tree with all of our names on it. They knew way more than people realized at the time. They finally started taking people down in 2006 and majorly disrupting the supply chain, so kids were going to H instead. Fentanyl wasn’t really a thing yet. At that point I was totally spent, and went to rehab for the second and last time. These days it doesn’t even seem real when I think back to it. What a wild time it was.

That was a good storie I'm a lynn Guy so know and remember this . Definitely a tough one to talk about with deported guy being who he is . I have family over the Bridge and would be up there The Browns in that era .. Place was definitely wild and a different place today. You nailed the EVERYONE was selling and support there own habits !
