#IAmPratham: Harish often charts arduous journeys in Himachal Pradesh. Know why?

The terrain might be difficult, roads slippery and the weather unpredictable. But that hasn’t stopped Harish, a 26-year-old from Himachal Pradesh, to chart arduous journeys in order to bring education closer to Thachi and its nearby areas. Harish joined Pratham in 2022 and as part of our Early Years program, he has actively worked to make communities aware about the importance of a strong learning environment for children. He holds regular meetings with mothers, enabling them with tools to help children learn at home. And at schools, he engages with children in play-based activities to maximise their potential, and develop a strong foundation for future success in learning.
