Why did it have to be so much US-centric? Carbon capture, jobs in the industry... Really ?? I feel one could find more interesting experts

Texas has their own grid? So that's why the whole state froze that winter 🥶

So basically with gas, gas companies basically decided to keep production low to have increased fuel prices because of the money they’re making, but literally can increase the production and lower the price and that way people are buying more, which I assume would also be large pay outs to them, like come on…

Thank you for being honest on why gas prices are so high. The literal only reason is due to corporate greed and realizing they can make more money than ever. Even though the US suppsidises them, they still take advantage. Pure corruption in government allows it to happen.

The loss of life as a result of nuclear power production is far lower than that of coal or oil, yes there have been catastrophes, most of which could’ve been prevented especially today, but there’s truly no comparison to the horrors of coal and oil energy production, let alone the planetary destruction

So I'm all for alternatives to petrol. However, I think we're ignoring ethics here as to how green energy is produced. While solar has become increasingly cheaper to produce, the Congo is massively suffering due to the mining needed for solar. We're talking destruction of the country along with modern day slavery. Are we going to address that, or be in denial?

"oregon, known for being cloudy and rainy, could have so much more power than it does..." what??? Can someone explain this to me? If it's cloudy and rainy in oregon, how can they have more power than it currently does, especially when it is always so cloudy and rainy? This seems so wrong to me.

also, how is there no mention of the more intuitive ways to store nuclear power plant waste, such as on-site, underground dumps? C'mon man, either the video cuts were terrible or the "energy expert" isn't actually an expert, because there's way more sides to this story than just a "Chernobyl accident."

Another BS about nuclear energy. Beside being really expensive investment to build a nuclear power plant, in general western world (US in particular) is very poor in Uranium natural reserves, while Russia is very rich in it, so real reason for bad press nuclear gets is public opinion manipulation in order not to get more energy dependent on Russia.
