I was on Vice's insane feminism panel

Despite how long THIS video is, I still left a lot out. If memory serves, right before the moment where the moderator says "let's not get personal", I'd actually made a comment to Eli about trafficking drugs to kids. So, I'm pretty sure that was what happened beforehand (and obviously, that makes a lot more sense than what prompted her to say that in the posted video).

I actually wish this conversation had been one of substance. I think there are some clearly serious social issues that concern women that need air time and deserve discussion. The fact we can't even do that because of how radical this has become is sad to me. BUT, have a chuckle at the absurdity of all of this. It's so sad it's funny.

Just got done watching that video on Vice. I consider my political views to be independent, and in all honesty, your thoughts made the most sense out of that exhausting 43 minutes. At the end, I also thought the same thing you did: the people who represented the feminist side said nothing that would encourage anyone to believe their views. They all came off as mean, angry, and self-victimized. I actually flinched when that girl witch-cackled and proved your entire point about being silenced. No matter what your views are, it’s truly sad that people can’t even have civil discourse anymore.

Feminisms main problem is that its everything and nothing, ranging from just wanting fairness for everyone to pure sexism, hatred and insanity. At that point it becomes a meaningless umbrella term to stay away from.

You being labelled "conservative" was realy strange to me. On the one hand, I have the feeling Conservatives (if republican) should not be able to say a whole meaningful sentence straight, being responsible for the clown-wannabe-dictator that was/is Trump. On the other hand I aggree with many things you say on your Channel, which is funny cause over here I am a leftist by heart.
The difference might be between classical left worldviews (equal rights, humanitarian ideas, progression for as many people as possible) vs the new left version of identity-politics, which is not only a bad and dangerous concept on the new right, but also unsufferable, counterproductive and dangerous on the left side.

I've lived with two of 'em. Hard work, let me tell you. But I am a gentleman or indeed a tolerant dude! One may have been a feminist lesbian called Monkey Girl(can not remember her name) who later may have contracted monkey pox and the other(Can not remember her name either) may have been linked to a guy called Palla(Palla's Cats) who had a gay brother who worked for Social Welfare. This feminist had a thing for rodents, rats and hampsters. Palla's other brother seems to have had a thing for Xhampster. She may have appeared behind a social Welfare counter staring at a computer screen as if she was watching a gay porn video flanked by two older women acting in a most peculiar way. She also may have appeared in my place of work and more recently she may have appeared as a driver on a local bus that I sometimes use. Monkey Girl may be a permanent fixture in my locality. One of my best friends from school days..Fitzspook...recently may have cut my hair(sort of) disguised as an overweight lesbian. All in all a continuation of my life of headfuckydom. Errr what's going on in this video? Oh nevermind.

The cackling woman and the disabled woman were by far the WORST. Every word that comes out of their mouth screams entitlement. Like “Oh I’m disabled! Oh I’m a WOC! Therefore listen to ME because I know what suffering an oppression is!” This video was my introduction to Pearl and even though I didn’t agree with everything she said, she seemed like one of the most respectful and level-headed ones on there. I’ve since watched more Pearl content and have seen how utterly wrong I was about her. My point is that they made PEARL look sane and reasonable, and that’s saying something!

I believe every woman is a feminist, even if they have reasons for rejecting the term or the ideologies that have co-opted the political action movement. I'm speaking as the son of a female Army Lt Col, politically conservative and pro-female. The show doesn't introduce any of the panel, so I have no idea what context they're bringing to the table, which must've been an editorial consideration in their selection. But giving transwomen 2/9ths representation only makes sense if they wanted clashing views to be aired.

Everyone, even you all, still and will continue to live by the code of "I think" and "I believe", which is exactly what you say there is too much of... You all are the real problem, sitting around talking about the fails, doing nothing to fix anything, and indeed feeding the negatives the whole time and beyond. Its just the way those radical people try to shut down opinions they dont like... another example where "feminists" dont want equality... or equity... they want privilege. They want to be in the spotlight... they dont give a shit about women... all they care about is themselves... you could literally see em compete for who could talk the most about their own personal experiences...

No matter how badly you have been edited by Vice (and at times I was wondering if I had just micro slept), you came off as intelligent and cogent and respectful and interested on staying on topic. Unfortunately I am unable to attribute that to the noisier panelists.

Personally, I do not like Pearl. I disagree with what she says. She usually contradicts the stuff she says, but I love Sydney and I don't agree with some stuff she says but I agree with her views.

I paused the video to watch the panel, then watched the first one... Its wild how different it is.. I disagreed with some points but the first video gave me a sense of progress and viewed them all as good people. The second one had a few too many angry people. I do believe colorism does blur in due to beauty standards tho, but the two women to the right we unbearable.
