Any update to the review? How accurate is it?

Looking for multi-user friendly.. i.e., If two people will be using the scale, how easy is it for the scale to save the data to the appropriate profile/user?


Does the scale or app need to connect to the internet, or is everything done on your local network / app? For example, is the data stored on the phone, or is there some cloud service involved where if the company goes out of business the scale or app won't work?

Been debating whether to get the Etekcity, Withings , Wyze Smart Scale S, Yunmai, ABLEGRID , eufy Smart Scale P2 Pro, Lepulse. Would love to see which one is the most accurate for body fat and bone-mass measurements (compared to gold standards like Dexa scans)

How to reset the passcode? I do not even remember setting one, now every time that I try to open the app it ask me for a passcode!😥😥😥😥😥😥😥

So have you compared the scales metric with a professional metric?

Its not a con that you don't know how accurate it is. That is true with literally every type of measurement device. Even tape measures.

It's not going to be as accurate as $20,000 professional machine. Come one guy... let's be sensible.

YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR REVIEW. In late 2022, someone at Withings/Health Mate thought the app needed upgrading, and in doing so completely wrecked the functionality. My scales no longer talk to my app, and despite uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times under instruction from Withings, disassociating, resetting, rebooting it still failed to work. It used to be a good hardware software marriage, now it's ruined. Your review while current and relevant at the time is no longer that way. If I saw your review and then bought the scales, I'd be disappointed in the scales and angry that you failed to mention the pitfalls of the app update.

Does the scale tell you your height?

For all the people who have a smart scale and apple health. My smart scale only shows 5 health metrics in apple health when the scale gives out 12. Does anyone know why? I think it’s an apple health issue but I’m interested in any opinion here.

Question, do you know you there is a scale that weigh the right and left leg separately, to see how off you hipp balance is?

You can get good smart scales in the $20 range, like Wyze. So the price isn't THAT great.
