ОтветитьThe way you teach is just briljant bro. Thanks for all the help over the years.
Ответитьloved this little course Caleb, thanks a lot!
Ответитьnot bad but the java course was way better. this doesnt have much detail. it just doesnt show you what true android development is.
ОтветитьI have learnt soo many things from this course! It bacomes a little hard by the end but please complete the course and by the end, you'll feel like you are completely a new person 💞 just trust the process!
ОтветитьAmazing Job...looking for an even more advance course from you. Keep up the good work. Love from India
Ответитьit amazes me that this is all for free! Amazing teaching and really understandable. Tip: 1.25 speed works just as well !
ОтветитьI couldn't watch the 2 first hours without a 2 times speed acceleration. It's too slow
ОтветитьWhen starting a new project, I don't have the option for the build language to be in java, only Kotlin and Groovy. How can I get Java to be the build lang. I already use it on my computer in eclipse and stuff so its all downloaded but not showing up as an option in android studio
ОтветитьWhat about kivy ?
Ответитьhow can I create the app with database through raspberry pi 4 to monitor the sensor that I am going to use like weight sensor and store it on database. The app is for the user to see the activity what is going on to raspberry pi 4
Ответитьអរគុណបងប្រុសខ្លាំងណាស់ ខ្ញុំបានរៀនអ្វីថ្មីជាច្រើន 😊
ОтветитьWell, i m a python developer and i was thinking of developing an app in API form and then use java n android to link the API to the android app, i here that its risky but i don't actually know the risks...i also here than there possible speed fluctuations of which m not interested in at all...i wonder if its possible to develop in this way without the risks...What are the odds?
ОтветитьHonestly, this Tutorial is what I was always looking for!
I'm an experienced Software Engineer and your content is very easy to understand! :D Your structure is awesome, you conclude everything straight to the Point and keep it simple. I've always wanted to create my own App on Android and That's how it works! Keep up the good work! Have a like and sub ofc :)
I am a complete beginner when it comes to app making, downloaded the program but for what ever reason i do not have the layout option inside the res folder, tried to reinstall it but it wont show up,followed all the steps in the vid but i cant find it at all,am i missing some step or did i mess some part of the installation? Any help is welcomed,ty
ОтветитьTake it you don't play many games on your superior operating system 🤦🏻♂️😅
ОтветитьCoding would be much harder for me without you Caleb!❤
ОтветитьIf you are using a more recent version of Android, you probably won't see the action bar. That's because the default theme probably will have .NoActionBar at the end. Go to res --> values --> themes --> themes.xml. find the style tag at the top that defines the theme for the app. Change the parent theme that it inherits from like this:
old:
parent="Theme.Material3.DayNight.NoActionBar"
new:
parent="Theme.Material3.DayNight"
If you just found this video and are considering doing this tutorial, my advice would be to go find a different one. Not trying to be mean, just trying to save people from wasting their time. It's not terrible but a large portion of the video is just him making careless mistakes and then going back and having to fix it, like typing the wrong variable name or method name, even though the IDE clearly shows there is an error via bright red text. There are also a lot of segments where he uses a blackboard just to write code which is just slow and not helpful. Beyond that there's also a ton of hemming and hawing and irrelevant commentary and asides. If you find that stuff charming then this might be a good video for you but if you're focused on efficiency and getting the necessary information quickly you will likely find this very frustrating
ОтветитьThanks though I prefer tutorials to be more concise. Not too bad at 2x speed, still though you make a lot of mistakes that you don't edit out so around 20% of it is wasted time. I think keeping some mistakes in can be helpful if its something the viewers are likely to do themselves but many of these are just careless
ОтветитьMAKE the episodes a bit longer if you do that the best tutorial after free code camp for me
ОтветитьВидео мегаполезное, очень легко и просто объясняется всё.
Спасибо большое!
ASM, C/C++, C#, Java programmer myself. I mostly write embedded or desktop solutions. Only just recelty started to delve into smartphone app development. Starting with this series is giving me a lot of hope as I'm following everything you've been saying so far. Thanks for sharing and I'm looking forward in watching the rest of your lecture.
Ответитьavocado juice
ОтветитьThank you very much for this tutorial. Very helpful <3
Ответитьis there ever going to be a next episode?
ОтветитьThis is incredible thank you so much
ОтветитьHey man! My first visit to your channel (and I subscribed). Thanks for the great content. You're really easy and fun to watch. I teach too, so I am easily distracted by poor presentation. I'm only about 2min in, but already find you engaging. Keep at it! Looking forward to learning lots. Oh, and... I'm a total noob with Java/Andoid Development... Stay safe!
ОтветитьThanks for this tutorial series!
Question: could it be that you are red/green color blind?
Just asking because when there is an error in the code, it is shown in bright red but you don't seem to see it immediately 🙂
If so, it is probably possible to change colors in the IDE.
Your style, your way to teach things are entertaining. For a junior programmer, I quickly understood the concept of the android studio by the help of you. Thanks Caleb.
ОтветитьI'd advice people to look at it x1.75 or x2 great video just too slow so In around 2Hours you should master it
ОтветитьI know this is an old video, but OBS is an alternative for screen recording.
ОтветитьThank you... where's the rest of the videos?
ОтветитьYou are the best!
Ответитьgreat video, really helps out people, keep the good work
