Too long winded

Its amazing how a certain car/manufacturer can really become your ride or die. I recently discovered my passion for Audi when I switched from a 2014 Ford S-Max to a 2008 Audi A4. I suddenly found that I really wanted to get to know the car and work on fixing any little issues that I find. My 2011 vw jetta is stuck in 1st gear shifter moves up and down freely but not side to side and won't come out of gear can any one help

Take the guesswork out... Home the shifter by putting a rod in between the two holes (~4.8mm) at the selector and home the tower but locking the black pin you found. Then tighten the shifter cable.

Can someone help me my car wont go into gear when its cold but when it warms up ots work smoothly

Also reverse is hard to go in but it does go in reverse , it takes other gears except for the bottom one's

My 2005 tdi won’t go in reverse it will go in all other gears. The weight on the transmission won’t move up or down either, is it bushings?

Car off shifts into geArs smooth car on won't go into gear

2019 I force into gear hard. And it stalled as if I didn't engage the clutch and my foot was all the way down on the clutch. So hard to shift into geArs like brick wall. Like the clutch grabs. And it feels like the pressure plate isn't being pressed or the slave or clutch master isn't engaging pressure to engaged my clutch

I have a VW CC 3.6 DSG and it won’t go in to gear they shifter isn’t even catching to select softener gears it moves but the selector is showing its still in park

Please I have a problem. My Mercedes c300 4matic doesn't go into gear. If I select a gear like drive or reverse, it shows on the dashboard that I actually selected a gear, but nothing happens. It only revs. But the car detects when I switch the gears. What could be the problem?
