Hi I did everything you said to do but I'm not see where it say move to usb it showing my usb but it not formatting

What if you add a usd drive and it say it cant find it what do you do then when your fire stick won't pick the usb up

I don't have a "My Fire TV" in my settings... I go to settings, and see all sorts of options, but there is no "my Fire TV" . Any ideas? Thank you

I was able to add the USB drive to my newer Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max, and I see the device as external storage, but not one installed app is giving me the option to move the app over.

Tried this set up today after receiving a new OTG cable and 32GB stick, generic from Amazon. Using a Firestick 4K Max. Went through formatting of the USB stick. Could only move 5 apps over to the USB. But none would open or function properly when on the USB. Tried formatting an older 4 GB stick I had on hand. None of those 5 apps, which I'd moved earlier and moved back to internal storage when changing USB sticks, would allow moving to external storage now.
So, I give up. Glad some can get this to work but it doesnt work for all.

I have a question . I have exactly the same thing usb and wires that are on your video. But my usb is not recognized on my 4k firestick. Found out I have to format it to fat32 . Tried that on my windows 10 computer and it doesn't have the option to format fat32 just the default and ntfs .please help meeeeee😢

What she doesn’t tell you is that this does not work on older firesticks, and actually it doesn’t work on my 2021 firestick either. I bought two of these adapters/usb memory cards for nothing. Hard drive doesn’t show up at all on my 2021 firestick. Don’t waste your money.

I was able to move only two apps over to the USB drive. I noticed you showed Lifetime as an app that could be moved, but that option was not available when I tried. I was able to move Paramount+ and HBO Max . . that's all. Any idea why no more can be moved? TY - learned a lot with the video, but only partially successful in moving. Netflix says it needs to update, but it still not showing enough space.
