I loved everyone in this Video , each actor had a big part of my life. Their careers were on everyone’s mind and there wasn’t that much written about each actor they lived young and had good lives , what saddened’s me is you all didn’t stay in touch with each other after St Elmo’s Firec😮😅
ОтветитьWhat happened to AMH?? 🤷🏻♀️
ОтветитьTo me, this proves that Hollywood has some kind of sick selection system and "connections" where you have to pass "tests" and "criteria" in order to get selected over and over for these movie roles. Let's face it, there's a huge amount of talent and good looking people out there. There isn't anything especially special about these people that makes them irreplacable. I think they find immoral people who will compromise themselves and then they want to keep them recognizable and insiders until Hollywood decides they're worn out and they need fresh faces.
ОтветитьOne good movie from Ally Sheedy is High Art, it was not mentioned. Her acting was great ¡
ОтветитьThe movies that pur kids watch today are so different to what we grew up with. Anyone heard whats planned for the Star Wars franchise?
ОтветитьIts the music intros for me.
ОтветитьThe Fairmont penthouse balcony is where the haircut scene in The Rock took place.
ОтветитьBreakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire, Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candels are the key movies.
ОтветитьReally? You didn't identify Andrew McCarthy in your St. Elmo's Fire photograph? Who also starred in Pretty in Pink? Come ON. He definitely had a place in the Brat Pack.
ОтветитьWasn’t it the greasers and the Soaches?! Not the Socials
ОтветитьI thought that the Brat Pack were for a certain demographic, I never found them or any of their movies cool at all. The Rat Pack which from my parents generation were cooler and more talented to me.
ОтветитьTake me Back..❤
ОтветитьI was born in 1984 but had two older sisters that schooled me with these movies. They kinda made me who I am.
ОтветитьAlly Sheedy and Molly Ringwald are so pretty!
ОтветитьInteresting and nice flashback
Thanks !
You forgot Demi Moore and Rob Lowe in "About Last Night"
ОтветитьI named my son Blane because of the movie Pretty In Pink. It was my senior year of high school and I swore if I ever had a boy that would be his name
ОтветитьThe 80's and 90's era of pop movies was great. It seems light hearted fare is hard for the studios to come up with. Mostly propaganda out of Hollywood anymore.
ОтветитьThe story of Gen X!!
ОтветитьPaul was not the principal
ОтветитьNew Jack City was very much a hit where Judd Nelson made a comeback before suddenly susan that was worth mentioning
ОтветитьWas AMH really a Brat Pack? I think he was the youngest of the bunch, in 2 of the movies
ОтветитьBack when Dave Letterman was cool and I was young and stupid.
ОтветитьWhen I was little, my Grandparents took me a Shakey's Pizza in Southern California and we watched Molly Ringwald sing while her Grandfather played the piano. I think she was abuut 10 , a few years older than I was.
My Grandfather played banjo in a Dixieland Jazz band. His band often played at Shakey's Pizza.
A few years later, I wanted to be Molly Ringwald walking towards Jake Ryan.
The 80's were so much fun!
The Outsiders, Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club were everything when I was in Jr. High.
ОтветитьHulu is doing a documentary coming out June 13.
ОтветитьI didn't realize that they hated being called the "Brat Pack". I always thought it was cool. I still refer to them that way. Now I feel bad. 😅
ОтветитьThis video was so weak and lacked any true insight
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьUmmm What about Andrew McCarthy hello? 🙄
ОтветитьAlly was not in she's having a baby
ОтветитьThis was a fun video. I loved all those movies and all those actors and actresses. Brings back memories big time! Thanks! 🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰
ОтветитьEmilio has been my favourite of the Brat Pack since the early 80’s and at this time I’m collecting as many of his movies as possible along with his brothers too
ОтветитьAnthony Michael Hall shouldve been a part of the brat pack
ОтветитьWas James Spader in the Brat Pack?
ОтветитьThe first pump at the end of The Breakfast Club gave you hope for the future.
Unfortunately that is not the case today.
A fictional group created by a writer looking for a headline, but I'm looking forward to the McCarthy doco.
ОтветитьThat fist bump though.. .
Ответить1985 great year to be born
ОтветитьMy favorite Judd Nelson role… Hot Rod from the 1986 Transformers movie.
ОтветитьYou go see John Bender in 5 years…well it’s been 40 wonder how he’s doing 😂 kind of hilarious watching now when the Asst Principal brags about making 30k a year….
ОтветитьLeah Thompson. She was in everything.
ОтветитьRDJr., john cryer.
ОтветитьDo not forget...Ally Sheedy and Rob Lowe in Oxford Blues!
ОтветитьLol ohmygod I had the BIGGEST crush on Judd Nelson, I remember I had a huge poster of "The Breakfast Club" and I used to kiss Judd Nelson goodnight every night😂🤦♀️🤦♀️🤣
ОтветитьHe looks just like his dad
ОтветитьI don't see it in any videos on this topic, no one seems to pick up on "Brat Pack" being the '80s version of the "Rat Pack" of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Peter Lawford, Joey Bishop. The NYT writer just added the "B" and played off their youth.
