Hi Darrel, I have a question about blog writing. I created a custom blog page where i made categories about my diffrent subjects, I made it so when you click on it you only get blogs from that specific category. Now when i create a blog about a certain topic it will come it that specific blog page but also at the 'main' custom blog page... i cant seem to fix it, do you know what i'm doing wrong?

You want long term partnership with someone who is cheap and stays cheap. This isn’t a good foundation for a partnership because you don’t value their time nor skills, you care more about their hourly rate. And it’s sad to see that you teach others that higher priced freelancers aren’t worth it.
Personally I hire people based on results not hourly rate because I care about ROI. And when I calculate their rate it’s usually 60+ USD per hour. So I can’t agree that higher priced freelancers don’t care or don’t offer the value you expect.
Rather than making these blanket statements and trashing randomly picked freelancers that you don’t know, you could focus on setting the right requirements and KPIs for your freelancers. Teach how to spot scammers regardless of their rate.
And the argument that if this guy messes up you only lose $8/h is just ridiculous. In SEO it takes less than a couple of hours to completly tank someone’s ranking and end up with Google penalty.
I’m not saying there aren’t talented people charging $10/h but statistically there are way more poorly skilled freelancers at that range. It’s not an opinion, it’s a statistical fact. Yes there are also poorly skilled freelancers at the top, but if they can actively charge higer rate, maintain good reviews and deliver proven results then they are worth what they ask.
