R5 5600 vs i5-12400F - Worth Spending EXTRA Money?

5600 is awesome, but there is no upgrade path... If you're doing Ryzen in late 2022 why would you want Zen 4, with Zen5 even if it's more expensive at least would have an upgrade path. The only reason to go Zen4 is because you already have a compatible Zen system into which you can drop in a 5600.

If you have an AMD GPU than it is a no brainer, Always go for an AMD CPU because of SAM !

It is completely ridiculous, that you need a 800$+ GPU to see the limits of a 150$ CPU in just FHD. Why should any casual gamer spend any more money than that for a CPU nowadays?

Upgrade path is also good .
5600 can be upgraded to r7 5800x3d .
12400f can be upgraded to i7 13700 .

AMD has cheaper Mobos paired with that $130 promo price.
