Did the same shit got 6500£ as a new driver at the age of 20 no claims no conviction nothing wrong even though I added additional driver with more expirience and I’m not single and and don’t live with parents all of these should lower the price a hefty amount and still 6500 with black box installed ???????? it should be optional to get insurance or not. Or there should be another system like having to deposit £5k or whatever somewhere so if it’s ever your fault, then they just take the money. If not, you get the money back. The current insurance system is such a big scam. I’m 21, I’m wanting to buy a 2002 Toyota Yaris and it’s asking me for £4K insurance. WTF. the car itself is worth £300 🤦‍♂️
