How to fix Camtasia Studio: Cannot Load File, Unsupported media format or Codec Not found

Thanks, this worked for me. Had a simple MP3 file that was giving me the "unsupported media type/codec" error. I downloaded Quicktime, re-started my PC and now I was just able to successfully transfer the MP3 file.

Only if I can understand what you are saying it would be better if you write it down as well. Thanks

3 days ago i was recording something really important and now i cant take it back to camtasia and render it as mp4
i tried using 7-zip  to open it but it was empty omggggggggggg now what can i doooooooooooooooooooo

Is this the same with Windows Media Player. And if I uninstall windows media player will it then keep the videos I have taken and played with it. Will I be able to get them back afterwards?
