um... that's not MMD into Anime , that is a MMD model , but not a mmd render. I can see that you used real cloth for the skirt and top , which means that you're using a software like blender or something. Idk who made it but they always call it MMD but they use other programs for cloth animation.
But i don't understand why people still call it MMD when you're rendering it in a different program.

MMD is good but a lot of people cut corners while using it.

The GHIBLI artstyle being sourced for this is seriously insulting. Hayao Miyazaki about AI animation: "I strongly feel like this is an insult to life itself."

I still like MMD the best

That's probably the future of anime and then the next step is text to video AI, but that ofcourse takes even more time until it will be perfected so that people actually want to use it professionaly.

Looks like the controlnet needs 2D "anime" sources from anime that are newer and animated more smoothly/better. I suppose a interpolated source would give more consistent results.

This is interesting. I tried this myself and got a bit of a worse result using the controlnet hed model. Could I ask how exactly you did this? What controlnet models? What prompts? etc.

The realistic style looks amazing. Btw, have you considered using an AI FPS increaser (like flowframes, RIFE, etc.)?
