Question:
1. Should the voltage test show 120 at ALL times? Or just when it's cycling?
2. How long does it take when inserting the jumper?

I put the jumper in and nothing happened.
And
When I tested with multimeter it was showing 6.25 volts.

Does it matter that the defrost cycle was running?

What if it worked but I had to jump start it?

Ugh there's ice stuck in my tray, and it seems like the ice maker dumped more water on it, so there's this massive block of ice stuck in there. I hope it's not broken. We rent, and I don't know if the ice maker is considered essential as far as our lease is concerned

It looks like my modular ice maker is fried, but I am surprised that is the case. I melted out my freezer to fix the problem of water accumulation at the bottom, and used a small portable heater to speed along the drying. After this, the ice maker is dead, even though i didn't think it got hot enough to be damaged. Moral: don't use a heater anywhere close to an ice maker. I will say regarding this video that the voltages are probably less on a newer refrigerator. A 100 volts AC is a lot.

Help i jump started it but it stops after i take it off

I accidentally left the paper clip in too long and now the icemaker is stuck. It will not put water into the tray. Is there anything I can do to fix that? Or reset somehow?

Everything checks out fine in my year old fridge - EXCEPT the water tube, that comes in behind the fridge, freezes the water in the tube, just where it is hooked to the fridge, and so it plugs the water supply to the ice maker. Therefor, no water can get to the ice maker inside the Freezer. It is 75° degree in the house. Consequently, no ice cubes are being made. How can that be fixed?
