Thank you for sharing. I was awarded the CSC scholarship for PhD studies in 2019, but due to financial problems in my family, I had to decline and prioritize getting a job instead. However, I have applied again this year and have been nominated by the university, with my documents already sent to CSC. I am hopeful that there is still an opportunity for me to receive the scholarship this year.

Hello, I got a pre admission letter from East China University, the supervisor gave me his wechat but i did not have get a request for a interview i only gave a interview when the chinese embassy in my country was selecting for the CSC, if the University do not request me a interview my possibilities are low ?

I didn't even do any interview but got accepted to the school and nominated. 🤷

I was invited to the interview, I got pre-admission letters from the Universities + recommendation letter from Confucius Insititute. I've passed HSK3 and HSKK, yet still I got rejected this year :) Reason: I was applying for 1-year non-degree Chinese language course [General Scholar] instead of Bachelor/Master etc.

I don't know what the reason, but on my side I think the level matters, I applied for phd after I completed my masters degree in china,I got csc scholarship very easy, I think maybe because I had good GPA and for phD in my major there was no many applicants because we were only 4 phD students at my university in Zhejiang, so I encourage phD students to apply more for CSC scholarship.

In CSC scholarship mention the physician test should do in china?is that mean I should doing it after acceptance in China hospital

But this year you can only apply for one university not like last year ,it was 3 and before it was 12 I think
So if you get recommendation letter or admission letter for university that you dont/cant apply for ,it's useless to attach those letters to the application form

1) This year, I will be applying for the CSC scholarship (Type A) to study language programs.

I've finished half of the form, but I'm stuck on the second section where they ask which major we're applying for. Since I've completed my master's and I'm applying for 1-year language programs, so whhat option do I have to select: general scholar or bachelors masters?
(there are options like literature and history, teaching language to speaker something etc etc.)
