Cars make me nervous in general (urban areas, highways, the I5, anything) but I think I'd have a heart attack if I was in a car that drove itself
ОтветитьThe spirit of Bailey Blue lives on in her younger sister Winter.
ОтветитьIs the name winter from the AJR song?
ОтветитьThis video was what made Tesla decide to go through with it.
ОтветитьThat road is safe compared to irish country side roads
ОтветитьThis guy deserves a massive W for risking his life for our entertainment 👏
ОтветитьWho knew that Grey is a bit of a daredevil 😂
ОтветитьTbf this road just looks like a typical mountain road, why is it so dangerous, is it just because people drive too fast?
ОтветитьIf the paramedics know the score why aren't the police also clamping down on speeding, or do they just allow it?
ОтветитьThis isn't the most dangerous road in America???
Ответить"A challenge even for the most skilled driver"
The Nurburing : allow me to introduce myself
Hands on the steering wheel the whole time, just shows the level of confidence the car instills in the driver
ОтветитьThis is literally road in ohio💀
ОтветитьWas there no intervention? Or did you steer left turns?
ОтветитьI was sure this test will go ok as soon as I started this video. Curvy road is not a big issue for self driving. Complex urban area with lots of pedestrians, cyclists, trams and complicated traffic pattern is much worse.
ОтветитьPeople who get carsick:🤢🤮🤢😵💫
Ответитьi feel like a beta being able to do this, heck a pre release beta! is just absurd. imagine a version of this 5 or even 10 years from now!
Ответитьit's a beautiful road, but for a machine, not much of a challenge,
we have roads like this in nothern thailand everywhere, its a breeze to drive them, but also the last place one would use autopilot, since those roads are made to drive them, not to be driven, neverthelkess the test was quite interesting.
My question ... if an opposing driver is over the yellow line ... can the Tesla see that in enough time and "jerk" the wheel to the right that we humans know to do ... and to do so without overcompensating? That seems like an almost impossible "maneuver" for a computer to correctly simulate in real-time.
Ответить…of course there’s a gift shop at the deadliest road in America
ОтветитьYo! My anxiety was going crazy!
ОтветитьI tried Tesla model S auto pilot on Lake tahoee to yosemite. It felt dangerous
ОтветитьThose type of roads are really fun to drive on. Unfortunately, the drive can be ruined by people who drive to fast and wrecklessly, and people who drive too slow because they're not comfortable driving on curvy roads.
ОтветитьGreat work Thank you
ОтветитьWhat is the music during the driving test?
ОтветитьHow has nobody mentioned yet that he isn't just putting his own, but also the lives of others at stake by "beta testing" some self driving car algorithm?
ОтветитьIn my town in German there is a similar road and you are allowed to drive 100km/h or 62mph
ОтветитьI know this has been mentioned before, but this is a dangerous road... for humans. We're silly creatures that sometimes want to push our limits with strange things, and in the case of this road, it's how fast someone can get through it without crashing. You're car on the other hand treated it like a suburban road, barely breaking 30 mph on a two lane road that's well maintained, has no breaks, and no pedestrians. This is something a lab would love to show of their "full self driving" to gullible people, because this is something that looks hard, but is extremely easy for even simple AI. It just has to follow the road that is on the map at the set speed limit and follow the well kept lines on the road. Also love how you made light of your car literally stopping in the middle of a dangerous road for humans because it thought a car was in the way while said car is parked on the shoulder. That is a dangerous failure right there that you decided to play up for laughs. Tesla has the AI disengage before a crash so that the crash isn't technically Tesla's fault since you were in control at that time. If you were going at high speed and had something similar happen, you probably would have found yourself killing both that drive and yourself.
ОтветитьCGP Grey you’re a mad lad
ОтветитьDriving 25mph in 0 traffic between 2 lines , yep so hard, unbelievable
ОтветитьI'm sure I'm the million's commenter to say this, but you should have named the car Tiffany :P
ОтветитьI think his heart was exceeding the speed limit more than the motorcyclists
ОтветитьMakes me feel weird when he calls the car "her"
ОтветитьTesla's are the most advanced explosive devices on the market, the military would have great use!
ОтветитьThis looks like it would be a beautiful drive in the fall time. Seems like there's several places to stop and check out the view.
ОтветитьDeadly and dangerous are not the same thing. All the deadliest roads are interstates.
ОтветитьDid anybody else notice how he edited he upper half and lower half of the display of the video?
ОтветитьDid anybody else notice how he edited he upper half and lower half of the display of the video?
ОтветитьI wonder what it would take to tweak autopilot into real 4x mode?
ОтветитьForbidden hot wheels track
ОтветитьI'm assuming because the Tesla maintains the speed limit there are going to be lots of honking of drivers behind it on single lane country roads.
ОтветитьNice video. But I am wondering, is this road really that special? It seems wide, well paved with nice lines. I guess it would have 70 to 80 km/h speed limit here in Europe. Probably 50 km/h in some corners.
Seems like only reason for the death toll is speed and drivers only used to super wide and super straight roads and highways.
Take Hwy 178 from Lake Isabella to Bakersfield and then tell me that an 11mi stretch of picturesque Smoky Mountain serenity is the “deadliest road in America.” 🙄 East Coasters
ОтветитьLet’s see it take the W road on signal mountain in Chattanooga, TN
ОтветитьThat road looks well marked and maintained. Fairly level too. Try your test on CA route 1 between Rockport and Leggett. 22 miles of hairpin and sharp curves every 50 yards as your climbing up and down and back again 8000 ft. mountain with 0 guard rails.
ОтветитьLooks like it could be any road here in New Zealand and to be fair alot of our roads are worse except they aren't driven for shits and giggles which I feel like alot of people are driving on this road for but rather to get from one place to another
Ответить
