Two long years after having my daughter via c-section, watching this ad still made me cry. The fact that we are so afraid and unable to talk about the reality of normal childbirth in our society twists what should be a meaningful and shareable experience into psychological wounds and trauma. We need to get this stuff out in the open and normalize the human experience that has brought every single one of us into the world.

ОтветитьSo happy I’m never having kids. Did you know that your eyes can also pop out of your sockets while giving birth?
Just so many horror stories of giving birth that it’s a hell no for me. Glad I got sterilized.
This made me cry! Instantly transported me back to the first night home from the hospital with my baby as a first time mom. How I longed to be cared for as a new mom and I had no one there for me
ОтветитьThis is truth! I wonder, if the reality of postpartum was shown, would less people rush into pregnancy? We're always shown this happy happy picture of moms holding the babies - and not moving.
It's been 18 years and I too clearly remember all of this in the commercial. I'd take my baby to the bathroom with me in a stroller so I could lean on it for support. Starting to pee took so long! The shuffling is so real
iiiii
ОтветитьLove this ad! So real. 👍
Ответитьحكم مشاهده المحرمات١-لايشم راحه الجنه٢-يبقى في النار عشرين سنه ٣- يرش في عينه السم ون نشر الكلام غفر الله له❤
ОтветитьThat's about how I'm picturing it's going to be, with or without Frida! lol
Ответить😏
Ответитьمتوسطه الواحد و الخمسون مكه
ОтветитьGeezus. I wonder how come the human species has lasted this long. FUCK. THAT.
ОтветитьAs a mother of 4 children this is definitely not graphic or even realistic. Where the hell is the blood?? Not sure what all that stuff is that she is spraying on herself. I appreciate the attempt to provide a more realistic depiction but suspect you are just co-opting feminism to sell unnecessary product in this video.
ОтветитьThanks to the New York Times for the present link! Yes! This IS reality and needs to be shown in junior and senior high schools. And no, new motherhood is not some "sacred" state. Knowing what I know now at 78 years of age I would never have thought all the pain and subsequent boredom mixed with lifetime terror and ultimate rejection worth it. No wonder so many women choose convents before birth control and at least some degree of choice came along.
ОтветитьHumbling. Thank you for sharing this.
Ответитьknow your audience.
ОтветитьCame across this by accident today. I'm 35 year old man with no kids and have to say this was defiently an eye opening for sure. I have heard of postpartum depression but now i can see why a new mother could get depression. Thank you to all the awesome moms out their and the sacrifices you make. Superwomen for sure.
ОтветитьI had the easiest pregnancy on the planet, I think, and a really easy birth, too (at home, midwife), and didn't deal with any of these issues.... BUT WE NEED THIS. Too many women are made to feel ashamed, not 'normal', or even 'gross' because of pre-during-and-post pregnancy body changes. This ad should never have been rejected.
ОтветитьBravo Frida Mom, Bravo! 🫡
ОтветитьI just saw this commercial on Hulu and was stunned. 😳I searched for a place to leave a comment. Too much. Save it for a Health Ed class. 🙄
Ответитьbut you can choose adoption¡ 🙄
ОтветитьI'm sorry but wtf... eew
ОтветитьTo see this is so important, for all of us.
Ответить😭😭😭 too real, I’m crying. But YES to this ad, it is awesome, it’s just a bit triggering for me right now 4 months pp, which is fine
ОтветитьI love this. So much.
ОтветитьHumans are so coddled, every other animal on the planet gives birth and needs no care afterwards…….most have multiple births too.
ОтветитьI wish they would have aired this. Its not talked about enough by the media.
Ответитьthis ad made me cry and brought back so many memories. i am not in the market anymore but if these products work - omg - it's super amazing!
ОтветитьI feel like if people were to see this we as women and mothers would definitely be appreciated and understood more. Greatest commercial I've ever seen.
ОтветитьWell, it's called keeping it classy, that's probably why
ОтветитьI am so thankful to God for having a wonderful husband when I gave birth to our first child I felt sore and could not alone my husband cleaned and adjusted my underwear because my whole body hurt and my back hurt even in the last 2 months pregnant, he helped me dress, he is very detailed and I am proud of him, not all men do that. And now God has blessed us because we are expecting our second son or daughter. ❤
ОтветитьYes, ok - but how do the products help with that? How do the products help with postpartum recovery? How is seeing a logo and product shots helpful for new moms?
ОтветитьNot only did this hurt me to watch because it took me right back to that pain, but it hurts that this ad was rejected for whatever reason. Childbirth is beautiful and loving and horrible and terrifying. I never want to do it again, but it was worth it to have my son.
I remember not being able to get up by myself for the first week because of how I tore. I remember the constant pain on top of being so tired and so hungry all the time.
A lot of people, most people, are not prepared for giving birth at all whatsoever. It needs to be talked about more. It's not dirty or unclean. It's not impolite to talk about. It's necessary and scary when you have no idea what the fuck is going on.
Forget academy awards! This should be shown in every country and every channel. Everyone should know what it looks like. We FINALLY have open talk about periods and no one lost their sanity over it. I hope more things like this make it to the public. This is WORTH sharing ❤️
ОтветитьJust saw this on TV and went to go look for it. It's gross. I am watching Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and this is commercial is worse than the movie. Have some goddam taste.
ОтветитьYour commercial is so gross, it needs to be taken off the air. Even if it is real life, doesn't mean it needs to be on air. So is pooping but you don't see crap on TV.
ОтветитьYou don’t need to be showing children that during a family award show or people that in general. It shows way to much. No wonder it was blocked. It is knowledgeable just know the platform
ОтветитьAs a man walking through this with my wife and 3 week old, This commercial is such a reality. Thanks Frida for making this one...my wife is strong and can do this!
ОтветитьHaram ✋😑
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьHard times so difficult
ОтветитьAmen to guys💪🏻
Ответить💗💗💗💗💗💕💕💕💕💕💕💖💖💖💖💖😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😍😍😍😍😍🤝🤝🤝🤝😚😚😚😚😚😚😚👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьWell to those of us males who don't know what women go through, this is very educational and inspirational in ways.
ОтветитьPta yo no veo nada malo acá .-.
ОтветитьThe honest truth.
ОтветитьVery Nice mommy showing More
ОтветитьThis is an ad every human should watch so they can empathize with us. I wish I had this during my post- partum period so I could know that this was normal. This portrayal is exactly how things were for me.
