One Divine Challenge: Molten Strike Assassin (Path of Exile - 3.21 Crucible League)

I really want to try a build lile this for delve. What would you do to beef it up defensively? Thought about doing the pathfinder version for the flask tech to make it more tanky but at the cost of damage

I've tried a few of the "one divine" builds, and I think this one might be my favourite. The main issues are that big single hits are tough to deal with (mostly pure physical), and (as with most builds these days) it's almost impossible to see what's going on to "manually" avoid some attacks etc. (which you have to do on a 1 div. build). I've made some changes as well, such as getting Witchfire brew flask for the despair curse, swapped over to Dawnstrider / Tanu Ahi (with temp. chains curse on hit), a stygian vise (with abyss jewels fro damage), a CWDT + Immortal call setup, and spell totems casting wither. The dawnstrider boots doubling attack speed from Ancestral protector means I run from pack to pack, occassionally casting Ancestral protector, plague bearer every 5-6 seconds. For tough rares/bosses I get myself out of the line of fire and throw out my 2 wither totems, ancestral protector, then jump back in for 3-4 seconds and pile on as much poison as I can, before backing off, making sure I'm on ok health etc., then jump back in for another 3-4 seconds, recasting totems (ancestral protector / wither) as needed, and plague bearer if it's gone off. It works pretty well, although with totem casting betwen some packs it's not "Zoom zoom" for sure. I've probably spent about 2 divs on it now. It's "fine" for T16 mapping, although I still probably die every 3-4 maps, to either random big hits, or anything that pumps out chaos damage (as I'm at -50% or something). If I could fit in a cast on death - portal setup I would. So for anyone with a limited budget ,this will do you well .. just take it a little easy and don't just stand still for 6 or 7 seconds and you'll be (mostly) OK. It won't allow you to plough through maps at a rate of 20 per hour of anything like that, but in the approx. 10 hours I've been playing with it I've gained about 6-7 divines mapping T14-T16s. Not brilliant, but not too shabby either. TY to Mayo for the build :)

Just the helm and boots on console would of used up ur divine lol. Only real genius grinders can beat end game maps with a 1 divine build on console. "Why" you may ask. Well on console just a pair of gloves with "curse on hit" cost a divine no matter the base. Got 10% spell suppress u got a divine item lol its so backwards

Why you use Legacy of Fury for Build that use Chaos damage?)

Guys, dont fall for that and buy DawnStrider's - they are way way better and more confy for your mapping&Bossing (If your totem die you still have 4 second buff).
Also you should Snipe* ""Tanu ahi"" with ""Temp chains"" for 15+- c, then replace Mark of submission with Taming for more damage/Res + because you got more resistances (via Taming) you can buy Stygian Vise with life/Chaos res/missed Ele res/Craft ele dmg with attacks etc - Then use new PoB feature to buy perfect abyss jewel for less than 5c!

Here's how to do that: Above "Weapon 1" we have "Trade for these items" - Click, in the right corner there is line "Adjust search weights", keep toggle "Full dps" and turn off others (I have only "effective hit pool" to off), then close to "Socket 1" we have "Find Best" - Click; Jewel type - Abyss, Max price - 5 = Execute, Control+Click "Trade Link", CLICK "Sum" = We're basically done, now just pick the highest number and buy it = Put Into your Stygian vise. ****Grantz, you increased your damage by 600-800k for just 5c Clap Clap Clap.

I came back to PoE after almost 4 years on Tuesday. Holy hell is there a lot of new mechanics! Going to try one of these 1 Divine builds to get me going. I intended to just play Standard for a bit to mess around, but apparently all my thousands of Exalts are now worth only a handful of Divines, so... I guess not!

why are you using fire essence instead of lightning the top end is alot higher and if its just based on poison hits isnt that alot better?

How do you get people to trade with you. I am new and tried to buy things off the official site and was ghosted everytime.

i would go for the flask that curses enemies with despair, and instead of the despair self curse get wither totems, thats gonna double ur dmg ez.

Question, your necklace says "your critical strikes deal no extra damage" is this overridden in the build? whats the benefit of having more crit strike chance if it isnt overridden?

Another great vid! Got some questions though. Why Magma strike rather than for example cobra lash? Is the ignite a part of the damage? I've got a 73 assassin cobra lash that I'm unsure if I want to put more time into, so this one has me curious :)
