ОтветитьLove this. Fiction reveals to us life patterns that we want to emulate and those we want to avoid!
Ответить“We tell ourselves stories in order to live.”
ОтветитьFiction is just Made up its isnt Real . its just Made up Like None Existence
ОтветитьIs there any shift from reality to fictional words?

ОтветитьStarted off great, great animation, great prose, but then ultimately I felt it was a little bit of a nothing burger with a brioche bun. The beginning states that scholars are discovering evidence that fiction can change culture, but then provides little information from the scholars to explore or back up this claim other than an example newspaper publicity for Pamela + counter novels, and some scholars saying Darwin was indebted to notions of heroism in novels and this influenced his theory of evolution without really going into detail. Liked the end were we started getting into modern works, but then this was more an invitation to question than providing evidence/examples of scholarly research that supports the thesis. Perhaps I'm reading it all wrong though, please comment if you can help guide me.

ОтветитьWe are playwrights of our own character, which we then act out on the world stage. We are also plagerists who regurgitate what we experienced earlier and claim it as our authentic unique individuality. I am tired of acting out this empty superficial character behind this mask of personality. Interestingly, "selflessness" is peace and rest. ✌️
ОтветитьMankind has lost its mind on fiction and fictional contents today, and is obsessed with them in countless ways everywhere. This is ruining everyday life for the common people, because nothing of this is under control or follows any kind of common sense. Fiction creates problems that should be fixed with concrete facts, and nothing is fixed because the facts are not believed or assumed as a reality. Fiction should not be treated as valuable or sensitive, when it is wrongly placed or creating problems for the people and it should not be an obstacle for the reality, like it is today commonly.
ОтветитьThis is 2023 fiction is the new reality

ОтветитьI csn't wait to compose mine
Ответитьyou know if this is true everyone in japan should've been full of child predators, and all who played gta should've been murderers/thieves, everyone who played god of war should've been a brute, but no. You can't just show a story/fiction to a person and automatically expects them to adapt it to their personality. We all have brains, we are not idiots, we know what's good and what's bad. Furthermore if all it would take is a fictional story to convince a person to do something, all countries could've weaponized this to their advantage, but no they didn't, because it's not going to work.
ОтветитьAwesome stuff.
ОтветитьReading fiction influences the reader's mindset and once the mindset of people who read novels change they will do different things and so the world changes.
ОтветитьOmg this is so true....
ОтветитьAlways Tell To Yourself Wake Up To Reality
ОтветитьEuel Arden's novel - Down Here in the Warmth is the best book on race i've read. and it doesn't even mention race.
ОтветитьThis has got to be the most subtle please to give up Western culture for collectivism, and a blatant disregard for the individual morality and it's sanctity that Western Canon has promoted.
While it is reasonable, and can at least be approachable. It's scary to think that this is so ingrained in the modern academic that this cry to abandoned individuality, just comes out as progressive fact without consideration.
I'm glad I watched this, because lately my cousins have been indirectly undermining me for reading non fiction. I started out reading self help books and then started out on fiction with classics. And by reading them a tiny part of me felt reading quality fiction is more impacting than reading a dozen self help books. In the former we travel with protagonists' life and see how they each react in different situations. I gave up on self help books unless they are of matter I wanted to study and learn!
Ответитьmy next is 20 centuries boys by naoki
ОтветитьI'm crying my eyes out over this. As someone who strives to become an author one day, this really inspires me. Any form of fiction has the power to change and shape who we become, and I hope one day I can write something that can help someone in a positive way.

ОтветитьI never used to like fiction books, only non fiction. However now I see the value of how it expands your imagination - the quality that Einstein valued the most.
Ответитьnothing like fiction to open my 3rd eye and balance my brain
