You don’t need a spring compressor, the springs are super easy, the bump steer is also easy you just need to get an alignment after..
ОтветитьJust like subframe connectors the torque box reinforcements should definitely be welded in, I wouldn’t bother with the reinforcements until you have more power, subframe connectors on the other hand I would do immediately to protect your car from floor pan sag, twisting and door alignment issues..
ОтветитьAs I watch I have to keep chiming in, (you are asking sooo) yes I do my own alignments, it takes patience, trial and error, I don’t use any measurement tools string lines or anything like that.. I put ramps in my driveway and keep adjusting then driving sometimes up to ten times over a period of a few days to get it right.. I guess you can use string lines or home alignment kits I just haven’t gotten around to buying any of that stuff… I can say that the last 3 attempts of taking my car to get aligned at a shop they screwed it up and this last time almost killed me, they had my bump steer tie rod end hanging on by 2 threads, the only reason I caught it is because it was making a noise, needless to say I’m not going back there and I accused them of making an attempt on my life, there honestly isn’t any way to make this kind of mistake, it’s a long story but it was definitely done on purpose…
ОтветитьPanel bonding adhesive for the ram air hood..
ОтветитьThe suspension pieces like the springs, cc plates, etc should be a winter project. The subframes need to be welded a good exhaust shop should be able to do that for you.
