I desire other women while in a relationship. It's the only thing in life that I want but can't go after. It feels limiting. Like I can't enjoy the things I enjoy the most in life. I thought it could be something I could fix with shadow work. But it doesn't seem like it. Any tips on how to move past these desires would be appreciated

I really appreciate this insight. I'm starting to see how they're really are deeper layers and how that victim mentality plays into them. But what do you recommend for starting to deal with that? I guess like is there a path that you have found to be constructive in getting to those deeper layers and how would I do that?

This is why I hate wokism so much. It seeks to lower consciousness and empower the darkest parts of the shadow in more vulnerable people.

I have been doing shadow work for the past several years, giving forgiveness where I felt forgiveness is not deserving, and actively shutting down judgment.

However, I have felt collective consciousness being suppressed and lowered since the George Floyd incident. It has become increasingly difficult to maintain a higher vibration since then. I find myself fighting anger and judgement all the more.

There was a time where I found myself actively trying to will the earth and the rein of humanity to end.

Then, I found love again. I will leave it at that.

We need to recognize, regret, repent, and forgive ourselves. We have been all beings, good, neutral, and bad in this single life. We must recognize ourselves in others and apply the same compassion and develop lovingkindness.

The one who owns slaves is also a victim of slavery. The one who holds judgement against the slave owner is enslaving the other to the story of shame.

The most embarrassing part of the Shadow is that others see your own shadow before you do. It feels as if the ego hides the shadow. After a traumatic ego-death event, my shadow could no longer hide… Things went to poo quite fast. Grateful for your wisdom my sister. My shadow and I thank you.

Interesting. I grew up being molested most of childhood. For decades I would tell people, "I am not angry...ever." Now in my mid fifties the darker aspects demand to to be seen. I am shocked at times what will come out of my mouth.

U no what I hod my hands up im not fucking perfect I have been everything at one time so I accept whatever shadow side i can be all kinds of fkd up like controlling territorial jealous manipulative but like i said nobody's perfect I can be downright predatory when someone pisses me off but so fkin what who isn't predatory in some form

I've been at this point also. In addition I'm having a little trouble discerning between my thoughts and ego thought. I ask myself if there's a hidden purpose or agenda within my thoughts to tell the difference but come up short sometimes...anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks ❤

I didn't realize that this was some new concept. I am 66 and have been doing this my whole life. I call it "Doing an As*hole Check." The first few times were horrifying. I was almost afraid to do it again, but I did anyway and found some of the "black spots" on my soul were fading. Apparently, I had taken it seriously enough to work on myself. Now, when I look deep into my soul, it's not that bad anymore. I feel peaceful, compassionate, and loving. I guess it was worth it. ❤

To sum it up: own up to your own shit! I have seen this process being carried out in 12 step meeting rooms for years. For real. Great video.

Now I wonder.... when doing shadowwork and you recognise your own old behaviour in another (for example passive agression). Integration does not mean that we suddenly become okay with being treated in toxic manners right?

Thank you for this perspective. The moment I heard the about the other aspect of the shadow I resonated with it and already find myself in embracing the inner warrior fire. Not in a negative way but in an empowered way. I've repressed my power for so long. It comes out spiteful and attacks when I'm scared. I'm choosing to own it and carry it openly. Healer as warrior, warrior as healer.

The ☯️ yin and Yang. We all have it. We all have to accept it. It is normal. I don’t play the shame game so I’m far from ashamed It is what it is and the older I get I realize that we all have issues we all have feelings that we don’t want to feel. I’ve found the more i ignore what’s going on ,feeling wise, the feelings get bigger and more aggravated so dealing with emotions is very important. Just see it deal with it and accept it. Currently doing the phase of shadow work for multiple past lives and engaging all my perpetrator aspects one by one. I just go into it as “yea, I can see me doing that”, heal it, and move on to the next.

If you can't find your shadows, simply observe the people that are drawn to you in your life. We are all mirrors and mirror each other's shadows.
