Solution to the massive coin pot in 1-2. Multiplayer, luigi gets fire flower(which will replace the one for the bowser Jr fight) and at the area with the coins mario dies or bubbles and luigi pops him on the other side with his fireball

A thing to note if you ever play this game again, the timer displays units I call “Ticks,” not seconds. A tick in this game is about 3/4 of a second. However, the timer in Luigi U, does count real seconds. While a second in Luigi U is a real second, Mario U is faster, but makes up for it by allotting more time. For a simple conversion, 100 seconds is about equal to 135 ticks. So, Seconds/1.35≈Ticks, and Ticks*1.35≈Seconds.
