The camera is bellow average quality, if you zoom, that is bad. There is no big difference between this and the Fold 3, nothing special.

good video, suggestion can you do a video or a short and tell what it's like using the outside screen and how comfortable is it to hold compared to usual thin smartphones that are not foldable?

It took me a while, but I just brought my first foldable, the Z fold 4.

I'm never going back to phablets. Just hope I don't break this one.

I've been debating getting the fold 4 simply as a media device as well as a phone but seeing this review I'm actually excited to get one! I look forward to seeing how well I'll be able to get audio and video editing done on this as opposed to carrying around a heavy 17" laptop when I'm on the go.

I love my fold 4.

I got the Z Fold 3 the month it came out so right around 1½ years of daily use. And I've loved it. The well-known advantages are absolutely true. I love having a Kindle-sized reader in my pocket. Editing photos on a bigger screen makes it easier, and handing it to a friend to show the photo is a treat. Webpages, spreadsheets, games: all benefit from the increased real estate.

The problem is, it isn't aging well. The screen protector started bubbling up a year in; minor at first, getting worse with time. And in this corner of Appalachia, the nearest repair facility is a couple hours'drive away.

The hinge is showing its age also. It doesn't open/shut as crisply, not lie as flat as it used to. No grit, just age.

Also, as a Note guy from way back, I miss having a Bluetooth stylus in a silo on the phone. I do use those little stylus tricks, my favorite being the ability to trip the shutter without touching the phone -.great for tricky zoom shots where any vibration would ruin the pic.

Trading in on a S23 Ultra,. somewhat regretfully. But there's a lot of screen there, too.

Maybe the Fold 4 solves some of these problems. Time will tell. No stylus-in-silo; I could maybe accept that, if all my other concerns are resolved.

Only the Mr Mobile videos can I go through, watch, and then watch over and over again. It always feels like I am learning something new

I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that I must be the odd man out when it comes to the "crease". I actually like it. It feels reassuring and conforms to my understanding of the physical world where, when you fold things, a crease appears. My only disappointment, and it is not limited to this phone, is the lack of expandable memory. There are probably some technical justifications as to why an sd card slot is not included, but it just feels like a crappy, cynical upselling strategy to me, which taints the brand - it's one of the reasons why I avoid the apple-sphere, and it appears Samsung is taking a leaf from that disappointing book. However, those things aside, I am enjoying my fold 4 - but I am glad I have kept my Note 20 Ultra.

I desperately want a better camera with better low light ability. The s pen slot would just be icing. But the camera is most important to me

I have to say this phone is really making fold phones look appealing to me - something I never thought I would say, mostly because I was terrified of my fold phone literally folding in half; I don't know how Samsung does it, but I like what they are puttin' down.

was going to get fold 1 back in the day but had manny problems and I waited out a long time with my s21u and got my fold 4 for about 1 week ago and will never look back again to iPhone or another andrioid devise

I tried the Z Fold 3, LOVED the folding thing really but for me having so much other apple devices, I missed so much functions like AirDrop, Hand-over, AirPlay, unlocking the Mac and all the other system integrated functions which comes better and better with more Apple devices you have.

My Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 recently started to get what I'm describing as an air bubble along the crease. I only started to use it again, so I've been using it for about 13 months. I don't know if I should try to replace the screen protector (I hope it's the screen protector and not the screen itself), get it fixed/replaced by my phone provider since I'm in their monthly phone payment plan, or upgrade to the Fold 4.

I thought the crease and the black bars in videos would bother me but now that I have the fold i can careless about those issues, this is by far the best phone I've ever had and I'll never go back to a non foldable phone.

I use last 3 months z fold 4 512gb watch movies downloaded quickly fill 320gb upload documents its easy stop using my laptop

Don't buy that phone, the screen breaks within the first year

As an apple fan boy who have been using the zfold4 for 3 months now I can tell that android devices aren't that bad as what I was expecting it to be but the zfold still needs some upgrades the software isn't compatible with the fold but if you're a android user u would absolutely LOVE IT the battery life is way better than the fold 3 the camera system is amazing but for me I still can't use it as a,main device bcuz of my other APPLE DEVICES
Things that I wish they could fix in zfold5
1- software bugs fixing
2- built-in s pen
3- wider cover display
4-thinner hinge
5-less visible udc (under display camera)
