Never EVER stay together ‘for the children’ … it doesn’t work that way, kids hear, see, feel & intake everything in their surroundings & no matter how good, or how bad things are & how well you think your covering things over to be ‘just peachy’ kids aren’t dumb & see past it all in a heartbeat.

I grew up in an emotionally, vocally & physically abusive home & I bear the brunt of it SO many years later on. It affected & continues to affect every aspect of my life, & while I know that, I can psychoanalyze myself to perfection, it doesn’t change how I feel & act.

I didn't expect the end to be so miserable. Jason was patient enough to communicate after and act rationally while literally sitting in the same room with the awful neighbour because he was still thinking about the child.
