I'm just waiting for the Prince and the civilians to throw a revolt and for the other Princes to try and kill her like the vile villainess she is (she's also racist) like by poisoning her. That's all I am waiting for.
Honestly, writing characters is one of my fave things to do! (Currently writing a game for an app) and this just hurts my eyes and my soul.
Ugh, fudge this 'self-insert' and that its being promoted by webtoon really annoys me.
If it was a guy with the harem, they would be ridiculed and reported off the platform. Objectification is so disgusting.
Also another thing to point out is that Duke Phantom (bad name anyway all the names are awful) was only turned into a werewolf/dog? (I dont know) after the collar scene.

After reading a bunch of chapters, I can officially say that this comic is absolute dumpster fire. The MC is a shallow bitch, not because she goes around fucking men, but because she abuses the emotionally and verbally, she has horrible double standards, and she's so stupidly repulsive. Okay, Mc wants a harem full of men to love and cater to her, but she also wants them to make her position in the world go higher. It's fine so far and most of these relationships are consensual. But then she's like, "OH! I want this specific man in my harem, but he refuses! What should I do??" Idk leave him alone and respect his wishes, but you know what she decides to do?? She decides," OH! I'm going to not leave him alone and blackmail his father for assaulting me, which has absolutely nothing to do with him and make him join my harem! UNWILLINGLY!!" If that isn't the most fucked up shit idk what is. Oh lookie lookie, she has a fiancé. Which adds extra points to her shittiness. She just goes behind her fiancés back a decides to fuck and collect men left and right. I'm not shaming her for sleeping with a lot of men, but you can't do that if you have a significant other, even if the whole relationship is arranged. Not only does she sleep around behind her fiancés back, she also body shames him and makes fun of his appearance. And after a bunch of more scorching bullshit called chapters, I couldn't take it anymore and bailed. So no, I absolutely do not recommend this garbage unless you're a "feminist" or you have a fetish for abuse or slavery.

I really hate that they did duke phantom SO DIRTY, he looks so weird because the artist couldn't gaf to learn how to draw/draw POC features on him AUGSJDBSJDJ. Im really bummed out that they couldn't even give my guy some justice 😭

I’ve read all of this and you cannot believe how many people are fucked (metaphorically) in this story. One dude has to leave his family and it’s fucking sad. One man is just an asshole and tries to literally out the dude who has to leave his family because he got molested by another man. One dude doesn’t even want to be in her harem but gets blackmailed to be in it. She makes the dark skinned one wear a collar. They’re also trying to make the most saddest and sympathetic man who literally has the most character development in this entire story a villain.

I personally think the art style is quite pretty (barring a few strange panels that really look out of place, and also the artist's... background...) Nothing really stuck out as jarringly 3d or offputting. However, the absolutely vile content of the story is what made me really gag. No amount of bad art or 3d backgrounds can make me stop reading a well written story, but a horrendous story with unlikeable characters and criminal activity made okay because "woman," even with art made by Picasso, will never be enjoyable.

Funny enough, dark skinned characters with bright hair in anime/manga uses to bug me a little cause I didn't understand the reason. But looking at this guy the lack of contrast between his hair and skin tone really bugs me a lot.

To be fair that is a relatively low rating compared to other webtoons.

One of the comments is so fucking cheesy and pretentious, they were like "oh Ariana's openly sexual how empoweringggg and it's refreshing compared to those SHY main characters" and then the replies were going PrEaCh because ah yes the only way a female main character can be empowering and unique is by being overly sexual lmao I'm glad I'm not the only one gawking at that shit

I have read another manhwa with a more "villainous" main character with a lot of superior skills despite having no experience, but at least they make a point to mention that fact, and there's a 'good' main character to balance her.

I hope for your sakes you would get around to reading good webtoons lol, the closest was probably that batfamily webtoon. I recommend Omniscient Reader for that, although it's already pretty popular so I don't know if you've read it.

It's badly written, as you noted; but the protagonist's wants are easily relatable, which puts it high above 99% of American comic books written in "current year."

It's also obvious the artist has ACTUAL skill and invested ACTUAL effort in this; in sharp contrast to American comic book artists who have NO skills and invested NO effort in "current year," unless one considers gender, race, and sexual orientation "skills."

In short, this is white bread- tasteless compared to the steak that are classics such as 'Watchmen' and 'Ranma 1/2', but far more palatable than the literal feces that is 99% of American comic books written in "current year." That's SAD.

Now I know why I never got anywhere on webtoons...
