Total BS. Uzbekistan has the worst food in the world and it is NOT cheap. They put sugar in everything and the obese, diabetic adult women are proof. Uzbek restaurants are very expensive in Tashkent. Uzbek food tastes terrible.

I recently visited Tashkent about a month ago. WOW, what a pleasant surprise! the people were very kind, helpful and festinating. Me being an American, I thought I would be alienated. The exact opposite....
I had walked around this beautiful city, taking in the beautiful parks and monuments, meeting new friends. Some spoke english better then some Americans I know...lol. Their cuisines are fantastic and their home made bread is impeccable....
I can;t wait to return and experience Samarkand and Bukhara next. It was truly worth visiting this beautiful and festinating country. Will I visit this country again? Absolutely!!!
