For me it doesn’t seem to be completed ever. Since more than 13 years they tell the Users: We are ready next summer/winter - since 13 years! And nowadays no news are released anymore. Come on.. I dont want to be pessimistic, but its more than clear that this project is something like „dead“.

I really need to try this again with all the patches that it has gotten. I've only tried to play it once at Launch, and i was absolutely appalled. It wasn't just the bugs, it was the unfinished state that performance patches wouldn't fix.
You start on a ship, then wall of text now you are on land, and the past games lore out the window. You were fighting with Orcs for 2 games then suddenly with no explanation you are in a town with humans & orcs living together. Maybe the wall of text explains it, i forgot but i remember being confused. I played for another hour not liking everything about it, closed/uninstalled and never touched it again.

after installing all the official and unofficial patches the game crashes my pc and corrupts windows files resulting to having to do a format, otherwise it boot loops. I am staying away from this game

Nothing will help this game. I like to pretend that it doesn't exist. Like every Silent Hill game after the 3rd one.

as long as I kept listening to that beautifull soundtrack loading screens never bothered me actually. only my mother bothered yelling at me to lower the volume , since I'm blasting that soundtrack at max ! 😜

12 years ago all my hopes were laying with the CSP. I forgot about them and Gothic 3, but no I am nearly as hyped for the CSP as I was hyped for Gothic 3 back in the day

For Community Story Project (CSP), there will be voice acting, trust me on this.

for the game to stop stuttering you need to set the rendering to max, at the beginning it takes a long time for the whole map to load, but after that everything works fine, it works in all 3 parts✌️👍

Idk what the hell u are talking about. I played Gothic 3 ENHANCED EDITION and I never had a stuttering problem or any other problem whatsoever............

Sad truth is that this is not gonna fix gothic 3. I appreciate the effort they put into it, Gothic 3 needs to be remade from the scratch. I can see they mention things like rebuilding credibility of places, which is amazgin because that means they understand the problems with G3. But the biggest problem is how for example the Huge Myrtana, the glorius continent is made up of few small towns and nothing more. There should be 10 big cities, 100 small towns, farms, mines, god knows what else. THey should have gone with the idea that witcher 3 used - create a part of the country and explain to the player that this is just a small bit of the area.
The changes to the lore were also too big, Orcs suddenly being so different from the ones in g1 and 2 is hard to accept.
I remember while back some modders were planning to re-create gothic 3 from the scrach on g2 engine and that would be amazing, but they dropped the project.

The chapters part is a big no no. And should be a thing of the past. The open world of Gothic 3 is what made it shine. The chapters are not needed , because the progress is already pretty linear due to Gothic games mechanics.

Big problem for this game is: combat animation,combat system,physic of dead bodies,jumps,were is climbing?orcs must be fully remake, were is they's brutal language from gothic 2?what happend whit they's leg's?all Orcs animations are bad,all armor - unlogic trash.Story is absolutely bad and don't deserve to be like we have now, what good things have gothic 3 : music, runing animations up and dawn, world design ( not everywhere).I dream about full remake, with deferent engine.

I can only dream that my beloved Gothic series will be remade using UE5.1

Any chance of an English version of this mod? This game is the biggest example of lost potential due to tech and AI issues. You could line up an entire orc horde single-file and stand on a boulder killing them one by one.

this is sooooo much more interesting than most modern games like this. Skyrim isnt even close to being this interesting

A Interview with the original Piranha Bytes team of what is missing in Gothic 3 due to time restrictions would be awesome.

I rarely play through a game a third time but if this comes out I will play again. Very much looking forward to it

Well it will be really cool to see for example some actually travelling between cities, maybe stuff like caravans etc where you maybe some time could meet people, get some quest, protect them or just some random encounters, I feel it could fit a game pretty nicely.

The main problem, apart from incomplete parts, was the combat and balancing. Felt terrible, worse than Skyrim. But I played the CP, it made it the entire thing much better. Not G1 and G2 good, but at least okay. Looking forward to this.

The only best thing in Gothic 3 is music and big world

Gothic 3 would never and will never be truly completed because it's broken to it's very core, and no mod can fix this, core mechanics are simply broken beyond repair, to repair it someone would have to rewrite WHOLE game from scratch, make completely new fightning system, new XP and leveling system, new balance system, in short just make a new game, modding it to this degree is like trying to constantly repair and try to finish a sword with a defective and broken core, it's better to just start from scratch, I don't think this mod will fix even half of the problems like being stuck with one fucking sword and some shitty armor for 30 hours because you can't find anything better or you can't afford it without making balance system from scratch

funny how games like Destiny 2 look amazing and run so crisp and smooth and this one can't run for shit on my PC

For me to care about G3 they would have to retcon civilised orcs and revert combat/movement mechanics to G2. I know its impossible but those are the things that killed G3 to me. It felt more like oblivion than a gothic game.

As a German i Love to See how much Love Gothic earns even from other countries :)

It's great the game is being revived, but I am wary of "improvements" made to the story. One of the greatest things about gothic 3 was the openness of the world and quests - you can choose where to go from the start and explore the world at your own pace.

Who the hell wants the story to become more restricted and linear? I don't want to be forced to go to montera first and nordmar next - it all depends on which sides I'm joining.

And if by extension they introduce immortal npcs like every other rpg for the "story's sake" - the lack thereof being probably the greatest aspect of gothic 3 - I'm gonna sue. Don't do that. Ever.
