How to stop worry about my sleep? I always wake up at 4 am, and so hard to go back to sleep. and worry that not enough sleep. I go to bed about 10 pm, so only 6 hrs sleep. I’m pregnant and worry that I need at least 8 to 10 hrs sleep if less than that I feel so extremely tired. My brain just keep thinking about a lot of stuff while I’m lying in bed from 4 am to 7 am.

ОтветитьWhat if the only thing I'm worried about is the lack of sleep I'm going to get and how screwed I am for tomorrow because it's 2 hours past when I was supposed to sleep. And then the more I worry the longer it takes to sleep and the more I worry and it spirals.
ОтветитьIt’s literally 2 AM for me on a school day and I am so stressed and not tired. I will come back to this comment to see how I was in the morning or how it went but this is literally insane for me. I have no idea what to do, the thing is when I go to sleep I’m like don’t try to think about sleeping. Don’t try to think about sleeping while thinking about it. I really need some tips guys.

ОтветитьWhen I try to sleep, I feel like I am having dizziness and vertigo, my heart beat goes up, but then as soon as I take deep breaths, sit and relax it goes away. But this cycle never ends and I won't get proper sleep.

ОтветитьI can't stop thinking about people and when i mess up something i worry even more. I can't stop this vicious cycle of me destroying my sleep because of things to do daily, plans or people. I have to go outside with people but i keep messing everything up and then i end up not sleeping. Cancelling the plan again and again makes me feel even more bad. I want to schedule everything I do on phone and want to not use it at night but it feels like it can't be helped. After the point when I stay up too long ...My heart rate feels too loud and my breathing turns fast and too noticable, eyes turn from heavy to wide open and light.
After that point I just can't help my head, heart or lungs to relax ..and that's how I mess it up basically.

ОтветитьI think my brain specifically equates beds with lying awake anxious and being really sad and scared because I notice I have a mich easier time sleeping on my couch or a chair or my desk at school when I was still in school...places where there was no pressure to fall asleep. I wish knowing that made it easier to let go of worrying about falling asleep but of course it doesn't 😂😮💨
ОтветитьAs an anorexic is there a how to sleep better when you’re anorexic, I’m thinking that whenever I start to feel hungry I could just go to bed to not feel hungry and that I won’t need to eat when I wake up, I feel like this would be very useful to many girls like me who want to consistently lose weight and have people find us attractive and femboys too, I’m trying to weight 100 pounds and I’m not sure if 120 pounds is weighing too much or not for someone who is anorexic, please help me.

ОтветитьI am not anxious and will not play the role that I cannot rest well in the night. Noone would who got illegally visits in the night that makes noise, and the visit has no other aim but making the noise to wake you up, put some stuff from the one place to the other, damage or steal it, so you get angry and they can say you need a therapy.
ОтветитьSince the beginning of this month, I started having intrusive thoughts that made me feel disgusted inside that I started thinking of killing myself. I'm still struggling, and no matter what I do, every morning I wake up, my body starts to tense up, and I shake because I know that my day will be ruined woth these intrusive thoughts. I'm tired and I wish this will all stop soon.

ОтветитьMy dad just annoys me right before I go to sleep mentioning things I need to do tomorrow which gives me extra anxiety and stress, cuz I’m just trying to take my mind off all the billions of things before bed like you mentioned lol
So many little things give me stress but it sucks the most that people I live with bother me before I sleep. I gotta try harder to avoid them when I’m trying to sleep I guess.

ОтветитьSometimes randomly in the middle of the night or around 1-2am I wake up with very annoying sleep anxiety to the point where I can’t sleep for a few hours, I wake up with a dry throat, shivering, fast heart rate breathing fast, and felt sick. Its so annoying but I try to find ways to settle it, what mostly helps is that I go downstairs to eat something that settles my stomach like a banana or grapes. Smth like that and it does usually help
ОтветитьMy anxiety is a nighttime one I start thinking about me passing away in my sleep and my lil 6yr old walking up to finding me dead and her having to go with her mom that is a meth attic. My anxiety is my kid losing me 😢

I thought its only me having this trouble, sounds insane, but now it somehow gives me reliefs that it really has an explanation and im not insane 🥹 Ive been suffering this but it like seasonal, it triggers anytime like 2-3x a year for weeks.
What if you worry about something you can’t fix?
ОтветитьI thought, would writing worries on non sticky post it notes be better than a list. You can write the solution on the reverse of the worry and they would be easier to physically sort out into actionable and non actionable.

ОтветитьI’m pretty sure this is sleep anxiety tell me of it is or isn’t but when I can’t sleep I get stressed out so bad because I feel like I’m gonna fall asleep in school and start getting bad grades but basically I start stressing out and then I worry if I will be able to fall asleep tomorrow or the day after that so yeah
