Hi all! Carmen here, so glad to see that people are finding this helpful!
I saw some people ask about making it so they could fill it out online, and others concerned about creating paper clutter (I hear you on that one!!!).
If you want to edit an electronic copy of the worksheet, you can copy it into your own google drive and then it will be your own private copy. You go to file and select "make a copy."
If you don't have a google account, then "file, download" should let you open it in a standard word processing program, although it might look a little unsightly (I haven't tested that).
This is literally enlightening. Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you so much for the worksheet! I'm gonna fill it out immediately.
ОтветитьYeah the only reason my house is clean is because my partner needs a clean house. I love him so yeah I finally manage 😊
Ответить“Some of us don’t know what we want because we’re so used to our space being a mess” gods I almost cried when I heard that! That’s exactly how I feel about my room! I have basic aesthetic preferences but I don’t know how I want my room to look or where I want things to be kept because my room has been in roughly the same state of disorder for the past 5-6yrs with only a few months total of genuine cleanliness. And hearing about the different states of clutter was certainly eye opening! I’ve never heard it put that way before, and it’s perfect in getting me to understand how my room gets the way it does! ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьMy best friend has ADHD, and really messy rooms. I’m a minimalist. He’s always saying we need to clean up (pick a room), which I can help him with. But I get frustrated when it doesn’t stay that way for more than a day. He blames his ADHD.
This video helped me understand a little what he’s going through. Thank you.
For some reason I’m trying to watch this and they’re using so many big words that it’s jumbling up my brain and I wish they would just say it and basic term
ОтветитьI needed this video a LONG time ago! I’m also one of the rare females that also can’t keep my house decluttered/messy…it’s literally been my biggest and stupidest avoidance. THANK YOU for help like this! I appreciate you! 🫶
Ответитьi was trying to clean my room today and my uncle came in and talked to me about how messy my room is and how it used to be a beautiful room..
i cant ask my family for help but I also cant do it alone. idk what to do-
"Clutter in stasis" yes. I have had that. I have that. I never knew there was a name or distinction between clutter and this type... very helpful👍❤️. Thank you. .
ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing this
ОтветитьI literally got so excited when you said there was a worksheet with a list. Sometimes my brain has a hard time organizing what I just learned and to actually put it into practice.
Ответитьi'm a nerd. my physical spaces are not bad, but my digital spaces are.....everything a digital cat lady would want.
ОтветитьI live in my van, and its literally totally fucked right now. I sleep on half the bed, cos the other side is piled with junk. It looks like a tweeker house
ОтветитьMaybe...a third category: "clutter in transit"...stuff that is waiting for a place...but the place has to be made or cleared out...
Thank you so much for this video...I NEEDED it...🤗
I literally cleaned my room top to bottom and by the end of the night it looked I did nothing and I’m not even sure how it got back messy lol
ОтветитьThank you 🤗 It helps to know others are like this too 💕
ОтветитьOmg! Thankyou! This makes me feel so seen ❤❤❤
I call my clutter & clean pattern Bag Monsters & Container Fairies to refrain them and make them a little more "fun".
Then I can just ask them where they belong. "At home, or in a Sunday pile?".
Love you so much for this content! 11/10 ❤
I like the idea of the video but it doesn't help me unclutter and well reading the sheets just makes it harder so not helpful for me
ОтветитьI can relate so much! I feel like the connection of reducing clutter with responsibility that was ingrained in me by my mom kinda also contributes to me beating myself up for not being able to keep my house clean for multiple reasons, it’s so overwhelming and having a small house with little storage beyond the basement also doesn’t help. And because of that connection I mentioned, it makes me feel like an irresponsible child and I don’t like that.
I think I’ll have to find some good desk storage for my computer room at the very least, that’ll be a good start.
I'm a crafter, so, so many craft supplies.
ОтветитьIm constantly fighting with myself to keep my clutter to a minimum. As I have OCD and ADHD, so my brain is like..."We need everything to be perfectly organized" and..."we need to be able to rearrange and possibly get messy".
ОтветитьAnyone else have incredibly over organised cupboards and draws and then a mess on every surface and floor?
ОтветитьEven the tiniest bit of clutter annoys me because I hate things out of place but I am the person putting things out of place and making the clutter
ОтветитьI know how u feel. I know your pain. I can't have .I school desk clean for 10 seconds.( I have adhd)
ОтветитьI like how fast she speaks she keeps me looking at the screen 😂
Ответить"I didn't stop having ADHD, I got help" powerful words!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI can keep my house clean. My record might be an hour or so before it's unclean again but it's clean in that hour. Soo.. yeah
ОтветитьDid anyone mentioned her eyes in comments before? Something special about them 💫
ОтветитьThis was super helpful, thank you. I'm in my 30s and feeling so embarrassed that my room gets messy so easily!
ОтветитьPlease have a video on digital clutter too!
ОтветитьMe, looking around, I have a lot of clutter in stasis....
Ответить"The ADHD brain we live with" um no... I am my brain and my brain is me. What is the "We" that supposedly lives with the brain exactly???
Ответитьthis is so hard for me, i also live in a very small space and i feel like i dont have enough space for my stuff and it sucks so bad
ОтветитьI took this advice and pulled through cleaning the house. Apparently the only clutter that is now left is me😅
ОтветитьThis isn’t helpful - to me anyway. You’ve had people come in and declutter your space. Everyday people can’t afford that.
Ответитьbad room grl
ОтветитьI don't have adhd, but I do have ptsd, and it sort of looks like adhd because of the overwhelm...cycle. This does help.
ОтветитьThank you so much, this has really helped x
ОтветитьWow this video was a bag of BS for someone with actual severe ADHD.
ОтветитьI’m literally crying from seeing this and can’t wait to print out the worksheet!! THANK YOU!
ОтветитьThank you SO MUCH!
ОтветитьIs this reason why we get misunderstood as lazy?
ОтветитьThis was fantastic! THANK YOU! I want to share it with my family and friends so they might understand why I struggle with clutter...
Ответить"Beating myself up for being the only woman I know who can't keep her house clean."
I am deeply ashamed of this. Even more ashamed that my boyfriend is the clean one who has to nag me about cleaning. Thank you for saying it. I feel less alone.
Exactly what I needed today, thanks for this video!
ОтветитьThank you so much for making this video ❤ I am still awaiting a formal psychiatric evaluation but am looking for self-help techniques for my ADHD symptoms.
What the wonderful sisters said about Clutter in motion resonated so much and has helped me reevaluate some real anxiety triggers
