This is a great guide. I've never played DnD and have never played any of these type of games, and was on the fence about buying because i thought you're spells were extremely limited, but this has shown me there is a lit more depth to it, and you're not completely worthless at the end of your turns. I know nothing of DnD.

As a 5e DM, I teach Dnd magic like the following: Magic and spell slots is like a revolver. The spell slots are the bullet chambers. The spells are bullets. As you level, you increase the bullet chamber quantity and size to put bigger bullets in. You can always put smaller bullets in larger chambers but it’s kinda a waste.

Casting two leveled spells via quicken is not something that 5e rules allow. I'm fully ready to see it get nerfed to the original state, as in one quickened spell and one action/cantrip.

Awesome video man. Definitely going into Warlock when the game releases. One quick question though, for concentration spells, are you allowed to cast a non concentration based spell while it's still active? Like if I cast fly can I still cast something like Firebolt?

What mods are you using? You have way too many hps at level 1 and your cantrips are doing double damage.

Can you explain if/how Modifiers work on spells we get from equipment. For instance, You get a Helm that gives you scorching ray. If i put in on a Socrerer does it get + Modifiers from Charisma?
And if i put it on a Barbarian does it get + modifiers from Intellect? Is INT the default modifier for wizard spells? and then if you have some other class that uses another stat for casting spells ( like Wisdom Charisma) the other stat is used instead of INT?

In DnD, if you quicken cast a spell, you cannot cast a spell in the same turn (you can cast a cantrip).

Can you double check if it's the same in BG3?

You should do a part 2 with Cleric Paladin and Druid Ranger

People really sleep on Druid Ranger Spells, ESPECIALLY the Ranger since people braindead pick Hunters Mark and Ensnaring Strike when Fog Cloud, Pass Without Trace and Spike Growth are right there, Goodberry got nerfed tho for out of combat healing

Bless and Spirit Guardian are also, really stupid good on Cleric, Cure Wounds hilariously enough heal more than Healing Word

Can you explain what it means to prepare a spell in the game? Where can I prepare them? And about learning spells via scrolls? Is there a limit on how many spells I can have?

What is a "turn", like the 10 turns from the Grease Spell?
