What if there ISN’T a “Memoji button”???

i've updated my phone as many times as possible and everytime i click on the memoji icon in attachments it still won't do anything what do i do?

I created my memoji, but, when I hit send on a message, it says “not delivered.” I can’t find anything online that can help me with this. I tried turning iMessage on and off, restarted my phone to no avail. I can use memojis on other apps like Messenger, but not on my iPhone X.
