Try using better recorder, both images are blurry and its hard to tell any difference.

Maybe zooming would be a better idea.

Does it affect fps though?

Hey folks it only works really on 720 and up and use the setting 1 or 2 cause the others will give that plastic look

It shines best making smaller resolution jumps, but also scaling to 720p is almost pointless because nobody uses a 720p monitor these days.
The best noticeable jumps are 1080p to 4K and 480/720 to 1080

So far you need to look for it to notice something. Not like they advertised it.
