Really nice cabin. I only have two issues: 1. Washer & Dryer in the living room & 2. White cabinets in the kitchen would have been better stained.

Gez I ll ask, that's my dream year round home. If my ship comes in I know who to call. Warmer location but that's awesome. Perfect size, loft I assume. North east here after 60 years I had enough. I wanna see snow Canada is not that far. Beautiful Job. Everything wood, no drywall. I built a cape 40x28 was too big.thats 30 years ago.
Some reclaimed wood like cypress would wood be awesome anywhere. I did exterior in cedar lap siding.

Eu faria um projeto de casa maior, para no mínimo, quatro pessoas.
Com dois dormitórios no piso superior.
Em um deles eu colocaria um beliche ou uma cama de casal.
Amei que tem as máquinas de Lavar e Secar roupas dentro da cabana. E mesmo sendo estranho que estejam expostas na sala, o mais importante é ter este conforto!! 👌🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Eu senti falta de uma mesa de jantar com seis cadeiras.
Também de Lareira na sala, e de um Fogão à Lenha para aquecer bem a casa, e trazer mais aconchego.
E também eu colocaria um sofá cama na sala, para acomodar dois hospedes. 💕
E precisa ter um espelho no banheiro... 🪞
Entendo que cada pessoa planeja e monta a casa conforme às suas condições financeiras, e também de acordo com o seu gosto e sua necessidade.

NICE! However, no mini dresser/chest of drawers or closet to store clothes during a 1 or 2 week stay! I didn't see any closet or shelving whatsoever. Okay, the wine rack, ugh. Upstairs, you could build them on each side of the arch depending on how much it comes inward. Or trash the desk and put a chest of drawers there. OR.....stack the washer-dryer and build a wardrobe next to it with a rod at the top and two drawers at the bottom. You're welcome.

Too bad you built in Ohio, with that whole Norfolk Southern environmental disaster that's poisoned this place for years.

Honestly, this is what I imagine to live in when I retire .

Didn't show any storage space in the bedroom.

It's truly amazing and beautiful home. I do love that 500 gallon water tank. Where we live we pay 1500. A month and our landlord refuses to put filters in for fresh, clean water. Which is truly sad. And that why she always have new people in less than two years 😡😡😡😡

Agree no wood stove??? That's a big miss!

The washer & dryer in the living room is a deal blocker for me. Watching TV in evening with laundry machines going is not a good look!😢

I watch a lot of small and tiny home/cabin build videos and always circle back to this one as my favorite. Such an awesome concept, great design and execution. Do you have the plans listed anywhere online for purchase? I'd love to get my hands on them for my own property one day and more than willing to pay!

Place looks rock solid. Love the color and straight lines. Regulations regulations and more regulations make building a house cost $10,000 more than it needs to today. The house has to be so tight that you're required to hard wire a bathroom fan to run 24/7 for outside air exchange defeating the purpose of the tight house in the first place. Self defeating regulations abound in the construction industry. Made it not worth building anymore. I let my license lapse. It's a joke.

has to be a better way than that washer and dryer being in that space and even though heat is in the cabin a nice wood stove would have been nice touch...If that utility room could have been made just a tiny bit bigger to house the washer dryer even a stack unit would be ideal....rest is amazing

I really like the computer nook. So many tiny homes or small homes do not include any dedicated computer space. I like the wide, safe steps. I like the vaulted ceiling, however, I like to have a wall behind me when I sit on my couch. It seems odd to have it in the middle of the room facing away from the kitchen. I suppose the furniture could be rearranged, which would be nicer. I don't like the washer and dryer in the middle of the livingroom, where it will make noise for hours. I don't like the bathroom off the kitchen. If a guest wanted to use the bathroom while you were cooking it would feel awkward.

I like the metal siding, ceilings and roof because of fire here in northern CA.

Where did you get the plans for the house, or was it custom ? A smart fella could fairly accurately reverse-engineer the plans from this video, but I figured I'd ask !

Awesome build... My wife & I would totally live in the same thing, but it would need a ~750 sq/ft detached 2-car garage/workshop next to the house. 😉

The water coming off the roof will have any chemicals that are on the panels and gutters. I’m a roofer and I would never drink that water.

I think the cabin is very attractive. I miss the traditional floor to ceiling raised hearth stone fireplace that are often featured in cabins, sometimeswith built-in shelves. I think it is a lovely size but it would be wonderful if we're large enough to accommodate a larger bathroom with a rustic bench shower. How much does it cost for a build like this? I like the exterior finishes and colors too, especially the patio. Would there be a way to possibly conceal the water catchment tank? I know this is a guest cabin but I could easily see something like this with a few upgrades either being a main home or a vacation home for a couple or small family. Adorable!

Good idea on the King bed which has a two piece box spring, You would never get a one piece queen box spring up those stairs

Was your camera on zoom because this video makes it look like your in a 6’ x 10’ utility shed. The sofa looks like its almost directly underneath the TV. Check your camera settings and re-shoot the video and let someone else shoot it because whoever filmed this one doesn’t have a clue. Watch some other videos of similar size homes and you’ll see the difference.

I like it overall but the washer and dryer in the living room would not work for me. Imagine trying to watch tv or have a conversation and the washer and dryer running right behind you.
