ОтветитьThis doesn't work properly if you have your own custom skeleton. Epic Manny will be compatible with Epics IK rigs of course it would work like that

btw add also foot angle as well, for a next IK tutorial, so the foot angle would be as same as floor angle but lets say max to 30deg or something

I've been looking for a help with that, to solve it once and for all, since UE5EA!!! It goes beyond any logic how something that important, in terms of true realism, wasn't enabled by default...

ОтветитьTip for the uncrouching: Instead of doing a line trace by channel do a sphere trace by channel and make the sphere trace's radius the same size as the character's collision sphere.
Line traces are thin which means if you uncrouch when your character is at the edge of crouch spot, you can run into the situation where the trace doesn't collide with anything over head but your character's messh is still under something, so then they won't uncrouch BUT the uncrouch function will still have executed and then any crouch/uncrouch bools you have become out of sync with reality.
By using a sphere trace and making the sphere trace as thick as the player then your character will NEVER uncrouch when their entire body (not just the line trace) would collide with something.
