Bro was no one thinking of just putting on a bee suit…. Spraying water on them? They’re machines right? This episode suffers from stupid protagonist syndrome

I think a common theme of nearly all Black Mirror episodes is that a society is a civilized as the severity of punishment it inflicts on real or perceived offences. In this case...people go overboard with justice and punishments. Killing someone for being a bunghole? sheesh.

I genuinely delegated all my social media after this and I don’t miss it at all tbh. I just realised how much time I spent on them

I’m a bit late to the party and maybe I missed it, but one thing that I haven’t seen mentioned in any comments is the culpability of the people voting for someone to die. Once it was known that the top vote getter was certain to die, wouldn’t the voters be guilty of attempted murder for just taking part in the voting process? And if they voted for the top vote getter wouldn’t they then be guilty of conspiracy to commit murder? After all the voters are active participants since they are collectively “pulling the trigger.”

I think this is the worst episode in black mirror. Felt so boring. I hate criminal mysterious movies/shows. I dropped this episode once and almost again.

The ending is horrible. What happened? Did she have a gun on her and arrest him? Did she kill him? Did he kill her? This episode spent so much time looking for him. It was so boring and it doesn't have a ending!? If we recommend anyone to watch black mirror we should tell them to skip this episode.

The guy who made this video is an idiot for saying he's a coward. So you commit a crime and it's cowardice to ensure you don't get caught? Sounds like you're desperate to express frustration to your own insecurities you probably have lol.
In my honest opinion, I think what he did to those people is justice. He's a genius.

Nice idea, but the execution was terrible in my opinion! The scene where they try to Safe the blonde girl was sooooooo stupid! They never told her, that a bee could kill her AND they never told her to cover up every hole on her body! Bringing her to a lonely cabin is so dumb. Why don‘t bring her in a bunker without windows? Why don‘t they put something on her ears, nose and mouth?
We yelled so hard at these morons and that scene alone broke the episode for me!

i kept my social media because people send so many hate messages to queer creators, trans creators, creators with disabilities or diseases that don't make them look attractive according to the beauty standard and any creators who aren't white. so what i try to do is leave positive comments, follow them and message them to let them know that they're great and I'm proud of them. they're so kind that almost all of them like or reply. i don't fight the haters in the comments, i rather send empowering messages to the creators.

I can't believe how relevant the theme of this episode is today. Cancel culture is even more present and effective than before. You can get cancelled for things that happened way in the past; people who are accused of crimes have no chance in restoring their reputation; even people who support said accused get immediate backlash. There is no way you can survive media anymore without having only positive attributes. Fuck this woke society.

I liked this episode, but I can see how people can agree with my opinion that it was a little harder to get through due to this episode being so structurally different than the previous ones. The prior episodes felt grounded in realism, with a sci-fi concept added to parallel our own human experiences: but this episode was unapologetically a police procedural first.

This episode illustrated our current social media landscape perfectly. Except for one vital element: Misinformation.
Nowadays, the hateful mob mentality we see online is, at times, not even based on full knowledge of the facts of a situation. It’s just based on sound bites, and/or misinformation, and, most of all, a disgusting, insatiable need to hate.
It’s really terrifying, mostly because it’s increasingly more normalized.

Mannn Gwen is right to say ts was attention seeking idc. You went to the middle of a town to kill yourself if the most brutal way possible… yea you may be depressed but if you do something like that you’re a piece of shit. You just ruined who knows how many people lives. If you already set on killing yourself why hurt more ppl.

Such a dumb episode. As if the actual backlash to shitty behaviour of public figures (sometimes costing thousands of lives and livlyhood) is anywhere near as bad as "literally assassinated by robot bees"

Accountability is good. And the goverment isnt the ones with the big powers to spy and guide the economy... it's the CORRPORATIONS that would do this.

Imo the best part of this episode is how much most think the 300,000+ people who died are supposed to be the ones who represent us as a society but in reality it's the guy who killed everyone. His main issue is that EVERYONE online would change if forced to face the consequences of their actions online... Yet he does the exact same thing only he thinks "It's for the better" just like everyone of the 300,000+ folks he killed. It doesn't surprise me that many aren't fond of this one considering it's one you have to put a bit of thought into.... Which many aren't capable of
