Hi Heidi and Maria, I have a question if I’m a Portuguese citizen, but live in the US resident living in California. Then decided to move to Portugal, to avoid to pay taxes on selling my Crypto. Would that work? I thought US tax’s was world wide?
ОтветитьThank you for your useless video😅
Ответитьwhat's this mean "residence for retenders (Based on reform)
ОтветитьHi,
Any idea what would happen if was a resident in Portugal with an income from a rented house in another country.. ie: Ireland ? Because there's no double taxation would I be taxed or not ? Thanks
Thank you Both <3
ОтветитьEmailed Maria, and setting up a meeting before end of month, I just loved her can do attitude, and after researching her abit more I can see where that comes from. Thanks for bringing this information to us.
ОтветитьThanks for the awesome video! I was wondering if applying for visas is different from you live in Europe but in a country that's not part of the EU, namely Serbia. Would all of these things still apply? Like many, I would also love to move to Portugal on a visa, since they are crypto friendly, but I'm confused in what to do as a Serbian citizen.
Also, if I make most of my earnings in crypto here in Serbia, even though "crypto trading" isn't considered an actual job here, would that be considered a proper "means of income" of whatever the term is for saying "Yes, I'm sure that if I live in Portugal I have enough money to live there?"
♥ thanks
ОтветитьBloody brexit 😡😡
ОтветитьThank you for the video! :)
Ответить@Heidi - It would be really helpful if you could make some short videos on the covid situation down there. Like is mask required and where. Is the local government looking to bring in this nasty covid passport that restrict us "pure bloods" from doing anything like taking the train or going to social events.
Stuff like that would be awsome to know.
Are there any single ladies without a family that are planning to move to Portugal? I want to move there but have someone to share in the beginning process so we can help each other prevent being scammed. Single women are prime targets for scammers. A bit about me: I am a Non-smoker, physically fit, responsible, considerate and I look out for the best interests of my friends. I am hoping to meet like-minded friends in PT. Please send me a reply if you are interested in connecting. Thanks.
ОтветитьCan crypto income only be valid to qualify for the D7? Thanks
ОтветитьThe only part that wasn't clear is: as a european we are also obliged to be present 6 months continiously? Or can you have your residence in Portugal and travel the world (not staying anywhere for more then 3 months)
ОтветитьThe stock market is still one of the most potential places to invest your money, if you can manage the risk then you can take advantage of the stock market to secure your financial position and earn money.
ОтветитьI'm coming to Portugal 😂
ОтветитьHey Heidi and Maria, thank you for sharing things valuable piece of information. The only thing that is not clear for me is that Portuguese law states that if you are a professional trader then your income will be taxed but it isn't specified what a professional trader is.
ОтветитьEverything very beautiful, but the house prices are increasing a loot to locals with low income, very difficult to get house. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
Ответитьwhy is the bull bearish
ОтветитьIm coming next year I hope!!!!
ОтветитьCurrently people in Austria who live here since they are born and bring money into the country are treated like the last piece of shit. The government now proposed to tax trades which happened far in the past and where supposed to be tax free after some time according to current law. Furthermore essentially nobody can trade here anymore because people don't know how they get these trades taxed by the new law in a few months, because as I said the new law taxes trades which already happened... Thanks for the videos Heidi
ОтветитьTks Heidi
ОтветитьOk … follow up questions.
US citizen and EU citizen as well, already own crypto. Should I keep buying? Or, better wait, move to Portugal, take care of my residence status, and then open a crypto wallet? My existing coins, after I sell it, once I moved to Portugal. Do I pay taxes in US? Since I purchased there prior I moved and used my US info on my US Coinbase wallet? Tks in advance
Tks .. I know you read my question during the live! 🙏🏻 lol
ОтветитьI´m not European and I´m going to retire soon ( yes, I´m a boomer, I`m heavily into crypto.). What happens with my pension if I move to Portugal??
Ответитьhave a good question for the next tax video, is there a chance that the NHR gets modified again like happened with the pensions from 0% to 10% and whoever got it at 0% kept it , but not the newcomers? could this also happen with the current NHR if the crypto policies are encouraged? because you know you hear around they want to tax it. better get it ASAP?
ОтветитьLove your cast - Bomdia!
ОтветитьI can confidently say that you are cool What can you say about Kyrrex?
ОтветитьMight be time to think about Portugal. Maria's amazing! xx
ОтветитьThanks for the info. Questions: Tax for active trading crypto, stocks, forex? That in combination with non dom status. What are the requirements for non dom status and how long does it take from application to approval?
ОтветитьGood stuff, thanks.
ОтветитьThank you this was great and timely. Something you shared Maria provided a new insight for me into my plans. I have reached out to you to make a time to speak. Thank you to you both.
ОтветитьLoving this series, thanks for the info. I do have one question.
Unfortunately I’m British, and though I’m still classed as a resident of Spain I’ve unfortunately had to return to the UK for a few months. How would I go about getting setup in Portugal, with the double 7? Many thanks if you answer! 😁
Thanks 👍
ОтветитьGreat information!
ОтветитьYou can do all the paperwork in Portugal yourself, no need for lawyers!
ОтветитьAre there some fun crypto communities in Portugal with lots of expats? Where about do you live, looks great there!
ОтветитьThank you, much appreciated information, muito obrigada Maria! 🙂
Ответитьawesome info you are giving out Heidi and Maria too! well done much appreciated !
ОтветитьI sent an email to Maria's firm, still no response?
ОтветитьI look forward to chatting to her.. Thanks for the link and videos
ОтветитьPortugal is part of the EU. When the EU changes the rules about crypto, Portugal has to follow. The question is only when
ОтветитьSo when I cash into usd, I should move to Portugal ?
Can you explain how it works.
Love these vids with Maria! Very informative and helpful!
ОтветитьDo you have any information for Australian crypto traders?
ОтветитьThanks Heidi, thanks Maria!
cheers
JB
Thanks for this mini series. So let's say one, being a EU citizen, establishes the Portuguese residence by going to the local authorities, showing proof of address, I guess. Then you start traveling outside Portugal (like a digital nomad, or going to another country where you have to take care of your own business etc.) but you do not maintain your initial Portuguese address, that is, you move out of your Portuguese B&B, apartment or whatever living arrangements you may have. Then, you come back sometimes to Portugal but not to the same address. Is that ok or you have to maintain a permanent address in Portugal?
Thanks!
Do you need any good football players from Serbia there in Portugal 😉.
ОтветитьThanks so much for this video
Ответитьi have been waiting so long on this video, this info and today, the day before i permanently move to Portugal, it is there, how beautiful ❤️
