How did you get around there? We are staying in AC but trying to figure out the way to get there.

My wife and I went here in 2015. It was the worst experience. We had reservations four months in advance, and when we went to dinner, we were very dressed up. The wait staff was pushy and rude, trying to place us at a table next to the stairs and traffic, but we refused. People were walking all over the place filming with their cell phones. It was anything but intimate. Honestly, don't waste your money here. The local trattorias are way better. And I am Calabrian!

This place gets absolutely terrible reviews online for their food and service. Did they happen to know you were coming to do a review? You're experience does not seem to be the norm. I plan on going to Puglia probably in the next 3 years and took this place off my list of things to do because of the poor reviews.

Ok maybe it iseems a trap for tourists but foreigner people visiting Italy maybe as a long dreamed lifetime expensive vacation, choose to go there for a romantic experience in a unique location. I don't think they care to to spend that money even if the food is not excellent. They will have other occasions to eat better food in a cheaper restaurant.
