Hi! I tried this with my 10 year old son, ive never baked before but i figured it would be fun to try.....our bread didnt fluff up much in the oven and is really compact. Taste is good on the out crust but the inside isnt very good. Any ideas of what we did wrong?

I've made this recipe many times and it always turns out great. It's so easy anyone can do it. I usually use 1/2 cup oat flour for the 1/2 cup. I also use a whole packet of yeast and it's fine.

My turned out so hard on thr outside. Tell me what I did wrong please. Had a great taste but outside was hard.( I am not a bread bakeer😂)

I thought I’d found the best no knead bread ever but this is now taken top place. Just put my fifth loaf in over and the good thing is it keeps very well

I make beer bread. Just one room temperature beer, 3 cups flour and 4 tablespoons sugar. Stir and put into a baking pan

My dough turned out dry, I'll try 1.5 cups water to 3 cups flour next time. We don't measure in oz

Now I'm confused because I've always heard that "salt" kills yeast so NEVER allow salt to directly mix with yeast...Use "sugar" because the yeast "feeds on" the sugar...
