I love and choose the leopard for 15 reasons why is my favorite big cat:
1. Great climbers.
2. Power in their shoulders and legs.
3. Versatile.
4. Smart and cunning.
5. Amazing amubush hunters.
6. Hunting a variaty of prey animals, up to 90 species (from frogs to wildebeests).
7. There are beautiful and gorgeous regarding their spotted coat.
8. Secretive.
9. Formidable fighters and powerful big cats no doubt.
10. Good parents.
11. Ability to live near human settlements something that other big cats couldnt do it.
12. Using trees as advantage points to set up traps by hunting their prey from above.
13. Had amazing senses of smell hearing and sight.
14. Had great weapons of defense & attack: sharp claws/lethal jaws/dagger like canines that are SAVAGE!
15. And above all they are the ghosts of the big cats who can navigate through the dark.

In other words, they are the jack of all traits!

While I love documentaries like this since the past 30 years, I suspect, almost 50% of the content is simply made-up through editing. I can clearly see different locations, animals, backgrounds etc using my 50 year old eyes. God knows what an expert will see.
Sadly, Legadema has been dead for 10 years so I cant ask her.

So wonderfully executed !! I find it so interesting how the similarities between domestic cats and leopards are uncanny, makes you think how deep genetics run and how difficult it is to separate your nature no matter how hybrid u are and how different places can affect your nature, the genes end up popping out; How u think, what u prefer, how you survive, how you protect, how u defend, what makes u happy, what makes u unhappy.

I watched this so many times over the yrs I lost count lol

I used to feel sorry for leopards. Thinking it’s messed up having to deal with so many hyena and lions. But I was at the zoo in Nashville and this expert said leopard are better at survival than other predators. When they fight it’s more of a warning than fatal and habitat loss means they just adapt. Amazing predators🐆
