I travel to NYC a lot for work. After looking up locations from the shoot ( no pun ; ) I saw the diner from were they met at was a couple blocks away from my hotel. I stopped looking forward to eating there. Unfortunately they had a basement fire some years ago from which they didnt re-open. It was called Good Fellows Diner.

The Goodfellas for me it's the best Mafia movie ever !! everything the story the actors the director of course all the soundtrack in this movie !! R. I. P. Ray liotta !!

Ray Liotta eye's when he was high and driving his car and was paranoid he was being followed by a helicopter..lol..bloodshot eye's and glazed..how did they do that...poke Ray in the eyes before the shot...

Born and raised in New Jersey, obviously Italian… this movie is great for one reason… it shows a part of the Italian culture that was a reality for that time. And they captured it to a T and made it very magical… each actor representative, unique perspective of a certain reality which most people will never understand… just like the Godfather just like Bronx tail..
