Цена 5 000 - 5 500 против 16 000 - 20 000) Так что все нормально)
ОтветитьThe thing is in singleplayer games way lower fps is needed for a satisfactory experience.
And the games who would realy need high fps, competitive arena shooters, are dead for a
long time.
In that regard the FX cpu holds up pretty well even on standart clock and with budget grafics
like for example 1660S on 1080p. However thats the limit.
Economicly it doesnt make any sense to pair a FX with a new high end grafics card because the
CPU bottlenecks the grafics card. So at least halve the money you spent on that card is thrown
out of the window.
Night and day difference but the fact that 8350 still offers a playable experience shows me that the fx processors weren't that bad. Piledriver was a big improvement over bulldozer
Ответитьi bought a BUNCHHHH of these when people priced them used at like 20 - 30 dollars locally. i bought about 24 of these lol
they work amazing to flip systems to sell if you manage to find a GPU priced at 50 - 60 USD.
what surprise me is no the double of fps is the bloody thing stiull pulling 60+ 75+ and 100+ fps now the games use more than 2 cores and the stupid windows can use more cores not capped with intel
ОтветитьI just upgraded from FX8350 to 5800x.. honestly I was expecting a bigger improvement, that just goes to show how great the FX chips are, literally 10 years later. I hope this one age as well.
ОтветитьFX 8350 ВЕЧЕН СУККА!
ОтветитьI imagine that some guy must be still use this today only doing GPU upgrades for over a decade... if u play casual is still enough i guess...
Ответитьi finally upgraded from my 8350 to a 7800x3d what a journey that has been.
ОтветитьI actually upgraded from the FX 8350 to the 5800X and it's a big difference I can easily get 60 FPS now and even over 100+ FPS in some games with my RTX 3080
ОтветитьI recently (July '23) stepped up to an R7 5800x3D. The difference so far is that in a game like Cyberpunk I can run at high instead of medium settings. That's with an ageing GTX1660ti. When I eventually upgrade the GPU for Phantom Liberty, Starfield etc, the gap will grow. But the ability of the fx8350 (overclocked and liquid AIO cooled) to make games playable a decade after I bought it is impressive. I've kept the old fx beast intact with a rx580 Nitro to run all the older games. My stock clocked fx6300 machine will continue to be my workhorse until October 2025...
ОтветитьThe best processor for cheap system the principal and most power diference is the Pci Express 2.0 to 3.0 diferent socket and chipset i have fx 8350 up to 4,5 ghz stable º only 50$ >>> XD wombo combo with rx 6700 xt 12 gb
ОтветитьFX8350 was an awful CPU, but at least it's playable!
ОтветитьOmg FX is such a garage
ОтветитьYou temperature is a little hight
ОтветитьOh wow that 8350 is power hungry
ОтветитьAMD FX eternal knife Intel i5 2500k in the liver😀
ОтветитьHow valid is the Win 10 deal? Thank you
ОтветитьNot really a fair comparison. The RTX 3080 is far too much GPU for an FX processor. You can see the bottleneck in the stats. FX using 70% while 3080 only uses 38%. Then look at the Ryzen CPU using 30% while the 3080 uses 70%. The card is being severely underutilized on the FX platform. Now, if you paired that FX CPU with a GPU that was more in tune with it, like a Vega 64, you would see a huge fps increase.
ОтветитьI built a system with an FX 8350 6 years ago. I was on a budget, it cost me 65 USD's when I got it. I got a couple 7970's from ebay and it has been my gaming system since. I am doing an upgrade now but the eight cores really do a good job even in 2022.
Ответить
What about FX 8350 vs Ryzen 9 5950x?
ОтветитьThe funny thing is if you take a xeon 8 core from that era. And intel did not lock the multi. Running it a 4.5ghz would wreck that fx cpu. 🤣
ОтветитьNeed a modern video like this, but need to pair it with a more realistic combination such as RX580, GTX 1060, GTX 1650 super, RX 5500, RX6500, RTX 3050, etc.
When paired with no more powerful than RX580 / GTX 1060 tier performance you are at about the best parity you can get that makes sense. There are some GPU bound games that you may have better parity on a 5600XT or 1660super or something, but the 580/1060 is the most balanced.
Que perfil de RAM y ssd estás utilizando?
ОтветитьHola..!?que versión de Windows estás utilizando?
ОтветитьWhy is the GPU using more power in the case of the 5800X (on the right)?
ОтветитьBuy a Gtx 1060 6gb or rx 580 8gb for FX thats the max this cpu can do. Or you can pair up with Gtx 1070, Rtx 2060, Rtx 3050 but you will have least 15% bottleneck.
ОтветитьCould you add total system power draw? Thanks for the benchmark data on the two.
ОтветитьI have FX-8300 and it's biggest problems are insane FPS drops and frametime spikes making anything competetive pretty much unplayable.
ОтветитьWow. In 10 years Amd has only doubled its performance. 😂 You would expect 5800x being 500% better, not just 50%. I imagine what if the fx chip would’ve been given 16 threads?
ОтветитьI still have a FX 8350 in my rig with 16gigs of ram and a SSD, it runs great after all these years. Far Cry 5 on high, Witcher 3, FS, etc, nearly every game on high or mostly high. Unless you can tell a big difference in mostly high setting and all ultra settings, the 8350 is still good enough.
Ответить:) i was wondering what it would do, now i know.... since i'm getting a 3080 very soon (few weeks) and still have my old cpu and board to upgrade, 8350 and asus sabretooth, i will be playing with this combo for a few weeks at least, so when i get my equivalent 5800x with more cache than ever, i guess i will be blown away no doubt with what pretty much seems like at least double the framerates,. boy! what an achilles heel it had...and how good it would of been today if it didnt have shared cache. i might have to turn all the fans up for this O.C though, its gonna get noisy, hahaha. and hot. cant wait to upgrade i been using this system 10 years. upgrading the cpu and mobo is gonna be a worthwhile investment fo sho.
ОтветитьWhen RTX/IO Is Released Will Be No Different
ОтветитьIt is not CPU bottlenecked, but 60 FPS limited in order to lessen the GPU power consumption.
Ответитьi don not know why but i have i9 an a ryzen 5 both current but i use my fx mostly its a special cpu for me
Ответитьsorry :D wie hast du den FX 8350 so hoch Gepusht das er so Stabile läuft Need PM <3
ОтветитьAfter a decade, still 8 cores :)
ОтветитьThank you for this video. 2022 is here and I'm still rocking a fx 8350, but feel its finally time to upgrade my personal desktop. I don't game as often as I used to during the Battlefield 3 & 4 days.
I skipped Battlefield 5, but looking forward to the new one.
I don't do video production. I don't render. I don't mine bitcoin. Thank you for making a video relevant to what I use my AMD CPU for
I play on HTC vive pro Medal of Honor Above and Beyond with FX8300 little OC 16Gb ram and RX580 with no problems :) good FX8350 100bucks CPU price VS 5800X 409.99bucks
ОтветитьSurprising results; great video! I expected more than 2-2.5x FPS improvement from FX to 4th gen Ryzen. I am curious about one thing; what motherboard do you have the 8350 on? Does it really have 2 16GB sticks or is the software just reporting it that way? I'm asking because I'm still on my 8350 system. I have a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3-R5 with 4 x 8GB sticks. Ram was at one of it's historic lows at the time, so I figured instead of buying 16GB I would just max out the mobo and buy 32GB. It was only $129 for the 4 sticks of HyperX DDR3-1866 which was a great deal. I don't regret it one bit since although I don't play AAA games, I multi-task massively and even when not using programs that are memory hogs, having 32GB allows programs to have lots of ram cache which allows them to run even faster since they aren't always having to wait on the ssd/hdd to send the next MB of data.
Anyways, AFAIK all the Gigabyte mobos maxed out at 32GB, but whatever you are using must max out at 64GB if you are using 16GB sticks. I'm not looking to upgrade my 8350 to 64GB, I am just curious. ;-p
twice the fps and half the ms
now that's gotta feel like a satisfying upgrade
FX 8350 Never Die.
ОтветитьIt kinda was the shit back in the day.
ОтветитьIts almost as Fx-8350 would use more CPU power than GPU to run the games than R7 doing what we normally except.
ОтветитьFX 8350 >
It's basically a two for one deal. Sure you have a CPU, but you also have a space heater.
Still using my 8350 today with gtx 9604gb. It does bottleneck to some extent but im still impressed for a 10 year old CPU. Shit is too expensive to upgrade with chip production being strained and bit miners suffocating the market not to mention scalpers. Upgrading seems far off for me.
Ответитьits a very big diff :)))
ОтветитьWow, not even 2x performance. But gaming performance is mostly irrelevant, you can always notch down your render settings. What everyone cares most is video rendering performance, because you're literally waiting on your computer for half an hour to finish rendering a video. Any comparison that doesn't include video rendering performance is pretty much useless to most...t
