Equipment Review: Best High-End Blenders (Vitamix, Blendtec, KitchenAid, Breville) & Testing Winners

This is hands down the best and most informative video I have seen. To the point and without a lot of chatter. I suspected that my older 5200 was best but I couldn’t find a video that compared the motor size and the shape of the blender jar.

You bet the Vitamix blender is the Rolls Royce of the blenders by far, made in Cleveland Ohio in the USA,I have one I have had it for years, never lets you down, it does what it says on the box, Vitamix is the Bench Mark in the world of benders by far,go into any of the top restaurant's like the Savoy in London what is there blender of choice,on the great liners of the world,you have gought it VITAMIX it stands head and shoulder above the rest,the motor of the Vitamix goes like a Formula 1 racing car, the only thing that I need is the smaller jug to fit below my kitchen units👨🏽‍🍳

seems like this comparison was intentionally biased against blendtec. she went out of her way to criticize blendtec. she cherry picked situation where a narrow jar works better. there are situations where the wider jar is preferable. what about vacuum feature of breville, which clearly reduce oxidation and improve freshness and flavor. seems like a vitamix sponsored video. blendtec also offers narrower four sided jar. bottom line, one probably can't go wrong with any of these blenders. overall, this seems a biased video. all good.

Purchased my 5200 back in 2009, and it still works like a champ. Don't care for pre-sets, enjoy using the 5200 because of the flip switches and dial giving me complete control of my blends. Great review.

The motor is very powerful and the stand is very sturdy!

Should've got the commercial Blendtec like we used at the ice cream shop I worked at. $1000 i think. If you are gonna drop $700 you are the type of person that would go ahead and get the thousand dollar one. It also had a hood that closed to block some of the noise out.

That's fake.
That's a 1000% marketing lie.

Literally nothing can run at 2800w.
American kitchen outlets are 20 amp breakers 120v. That means a MAXIMUM(tripping the breaker) at 2400w.

This was a commercial for vita mix. The Blendtec is way better on every level

Ah, but can the Vitamix blend an iPhone?

Just spent $700 on the vitamix 3500 and am returning because my ninja where I flip the container upside down and set it on there did a better job and got a smoother consistency and functioned way faster then the vitamix. I may try out the 5200 because I just like in general the idea of being able to fit more stuff in the jar but this review was spot on the fancy new blenders are not worth it at all

You measured speed, wattage and every other test you can think of, but in the end it was all about your bias opinion, not on the actual facts of said tests claimed. You didn't even mention anything about the Vitamix 750 or the Kitchenaid pro line which are the only top of the line in this setup. In my opinion the 750 is the best one.

You just have to place the lid of the 5200 upside-down and it tucks nicely under the counter.

I like the simple controls on the Vitamix but prefer the Blendtec because their Wildside container (especially the newest one with ridges) doesn't require a tamper to push the food down into the blades which is often the case with the Vitamix . As well, it's shorter to fit under cabinets. It's worth getting the smaller Blendtec Twister container too for making almond butter and grinding flax seeds etc (ALWAYS keep ground flax in the freezer folks!)

Is there any performance difference with the 2 different vitamix containers. The Tall narrow one and the shorter wider one for under counters.
Does the change in shape effect the classic vitamix vortex performance anyone know?

Blendtec is made in the USA and no nasty prop 65 warning. I will take that and it being a little finicky over those other chemical laden blenders.

I bought my son a Ninja Blender and he loves. Not in your review, but he uses it every day and is really happy he got it.

I believe that, technically speaking, it's not "cavitation", but vortexing. Cavitation involves partial vacuum "bubbles" that would go away on their own if you reduce speed. This is a criticism of the Blendtec machine, not what the presenter said.

400 to 700 Dollars on a blender?!?!?!?!?!

I have a Blendtec and its been used everyday for last 10 yrs. Great product. Never had an issue with air. Maybe I let it sit a few minutes and don't notice. I don't think you can go wrong with either the Vitamix or Blendtec. Both great American products that last.

If you're gong to spend that kind of money you should get a commercial blender. The Waring Commercial Xprep is the best of all blenders. It will do everything for $450 and it's a commercial grade machine that will last you a lifetime.

I like my blendtec fine, but the gasket on the pitcher wears out and is not replaceable

You didn't consider durability of the coupling, its heat capacity, and jar materials. I don't believe these small devices have more than 2 kW of actual power. They can only develop maximum power with a load, when grinding some seeds, and then the heat also cannot dissipate. You should have told if and how the power was measured. It's chinese peak watts like on loudspeakers. Agreed, digital buttons are an unnecessary fashion, unresponsive and a point of failure.

I actually always have to sit down, and watch your entire videos every time, even if I wanna steal the answer from the back of the book so to speak and not watch the entirety. Vortex Demo was very smart, made the video just, so much better than any other I've seen.
